Installation wasn’t too bad, however the front plate is held in by springs and does not stay up at all and looks terrible. Also the technology with it is even worse. You can only change the colors from your phone, if you want to turn the product off when you turn it back on the settings you had at the beginning. If I want the light a certain color it should stay that color after I turn it back on. For $199 it shouldn’t reset the color of the light everytime you turn it off. Don’t buy.

Yes it has an app but no actual connectivity of any kind. The app turns on the lights and has a timer but the switch is battery operated and the music requires a Bluetooth source so you need to add a tablet to the bathroom too or connect your phone which will be a headache for the next user.

I love the various colors available with this light. And how amazing to have a bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. No volume control on the switch although. It must be controlled from your device. The fan is very quiet.

Works great. Better options with the app make it worth the extra cost over a chraper fan.

I have never replaced or installed a bathroom fan before, but I replaced my old fan with this one without any trouble. Good quality. Lots of features and super easy to use. You can use the provided wireless remote control or an app on your phone to control the unit. If the speaker is not loud enough, try this: on the iPhone or iPad, go to settings > Sounds > Headphone Safety > Reduce loud audio. Turn off “reduce loud audio”. That will make the speaker significantly louder.

Speaker underperforms the echo dot that I have in the bathroom and is not alexa enabled. So won't be using that . To be fair it doesn't claim to work with Alexa . And the fan. I can't even tell if it's blowing or sucking. It's spins around but doesn't move any measurable air .

Well, the first annoying part is the wall switch which is just a remote you install in the wall. Why? I don’t want to cut a hole in the wall for a remote and then unscrew it every time I need to change the batteries. The worst part is the speaker. There is no volume control. You can barely hear it over the exhaust fan let alone while you shower. Our bathroom is really small and we still can’t use it while showering. There is an app to control the fan and light but does nothing for the speaker. So pointless. The light part works fine but isn’t something I really wanted. Also, the fan noise isn’t constant. There’s a slight rattling that makes the sound irritating. Looks nice but that’s its only strength. It has a lot of showy features that contribute nothing to its usefulness.

Makes a constant electrical whining noise even if it's off. The fan works great ad is quiet. The lights work as advertised. BUT, the constant whining noise is just too much. I now have a $200 target for my next shooting session. I'm not the only one with this problem. The company knows and there is no fix. I wouldn't buy this if I were you. It now makes the cost of my new fan closer to $400 after adding in the price of this junk.

I would much rather prefer the remote control to be (a) truly remote handheld, with a wall holder, (b) waterpoof, (c) having buttons for sound volume. The "as-is" remote control design is at best questionable, as it requires a hole in the wall to be drilled, for no apparent reason. Other than that, the product is fine, was easy to install and connect. Its a bit pricey, but is is a niche product with unique features.

This fan/light is everything! I love it! The lights the colors the Bluetooth speaker and the ability to control from your phone is amazing!!

Easy installation, speaker sounds crisp couldn't be happier.

Should not be sold in california at all. Will lead you to costly rewiring/replacement. No options except of rewiring.

Speaker is not very loud and most importantly, it does not move enough air. Mirrors are still quite steamy. Have to shower with the door open.

Looks good. Would be nice if the white light wasn't dingy looking "soft" white. Should have option to change to a"cool"white. Speaker isn't the greatest sounding you could say its pretty poor. but it is a bathroom fan not a sound system so not a big deal. I do have same issue as others with high pitched sound when off, gets quieter when light is turned on, and goes away only when light is at full bright. If I had read reviews about sound before purchase I would have gotten a different unit.

My teenagers loved this fan/light for the music feature. They easily connected via Bluetooth to their phones. But the switch died after less than 2 years. Given that, I would not recommend this product.

Speaker not as loud as in store display. Not sure of I have something set wrong.

Cant hear the speaker… whats the deal with this thing?? Looks nice, good fan, its not a speaker. The volume isnt as loud as my phone.

I am writing this review bc I read them. Especially the “1-star” reviews. I love this, it gives the space a cool bougie feel that will impress the whole family. Flaw, when a person connects with Bluetooth they lock it out for anyone else. Now that might make sense so that someone cannot hijjack. When that person connected goes and leaves, then you CANNOT connect without the previous person disconnecting. If anyone has a fix to this then I will change this a five star review.

If I knew I'd have to deal with the Broan app, I'd never have bought this. Just do yourself a favor and don't get this or any Broan if it needs to be controlled with an app for color adjustments. This is no where near as decent as a Philips or the Wiz app, which works great. The fan/light system is pretty good and seems to be good quality, it's just a shame it's usage is hit negatively by that ridiculous app. Just get something else.

I purchased it almost a year ago. Love all its features. But recently I cannot turn off the light. I try to turn off through the wall remote, through the app ( I even tried with the timer).. but after a few seconds it turns back on!! Like if it’s a night light with a sensor. How can I turn it off???

Excellent product especially for anybody that enjoys music with their shower. Very simple installation and a quiet fan that certainly does its job.

I wish it could be wired to switches that already exist in my home.

If you want all features except an exhaust fan, it's great. Bluetooth works great, wireless wall switch works. It does exhaust, it just takes hours to clear a small bath room. The biggest problem is it shakes and vibrates on the ceiling so bad you can't stand to be in the bathroom. Nothing I do to it makes a difference. Wife hates it, she wanted to listen to music while relaxing but it vibrates so loud she has to turn it off which defeats the purpose of an exhaust fan.

Only worked sporadically for 8 months then the Bluetooth died. It's pretty much overpriced junk
