I don't know where to begin half the hardware was missing. It sounds like it's at the bottom of a aluminum can when the speakers on the controls work about 50% of the time. It doesn't work via any smart home apps despite the advertisement. It will play from your phone or from a smart device but it can't be added as an additional speaker. You can control the color but not the temp of white. I would return but once you cut a hole in the ceiling there's really no going back. I regret it entirely.

Exhaust fan is in smaller room then recommended and still doesnt clear it, including with clean vent and duct to exterior, speaker isnt very loud and still blew out after a few months.

The install was semi easy for me but i think the instructions need to be labeled what is supposed to HOT, NEUTRAL or GROUND since not all homes have the same wiring as you would think. Took it back to HOME DEPOT and they couldn't tell me what was what. After install works great for me.

Fan burned out twice in 4 months Called the company they are sending on other one

This exhaust fan is the bee’s knees! It does everything an exhaust fan is supposed to do plus changes color and plays music via Bluetooth. It’s a fun bathroom feature and I’d buy it again.

I bought 2 for both of my full baths, the fan really moves the air, lighting is perfect, plus i can listen to my toons while i shower

Bought this at the local home depot yesterday. I anticipated a 2 hour project. All wired connected and nothing. Iphone will not pair. Wall switch will not connect. Fan functions fine if plugged directly into the outlet. It appears to be a problem with the internals. I have been waiting for over 1 hour on-hold but to no avail. If I don't get this resolved by this evening, I will return and try to buy something else. So very disappointed with the device and customer service availability

Installed it. It didn’t work because the powerhead cannot sync up with a remote. Call the company, they agreed it was defective sent out another one and it arrived broken. Contact the company again. They wanted to go through the same troubleshooting and sent out another one. It still will not sync up with the wall remote. I’m looking to get my money back.

Installation was easy and unit performs excellently, but 2 improvements I would suggest to Nutone-Broan on this particular product: - the wall control should be optional for hard wired configuration, ie. 2 wire leads with single pole switch built in to control so you have the option to shut off power to fan from controller. - main light should have color selectable option instead of fixed 3500k (3000-4000-5000k) controlled from controller would be a plus.

Great features. Just having an issue when lights and fan are off. Unit starts making a high pitch noise. When lights are turned on the noise ceases.

Unit was unbelievably frustrating and difficult to install. The mount doesn't fit flush to ceiling leaving 1/4 inch gap. Counterproductive for the fan. Separate remote for use is absolutely ridiculous. Just why? The bluetooth doesn't allow connection to more than one device at a time, so it is a complete hassle to have to expect one person to disconnect after each shower. Cannot recommend.

Static and back noise in Bluetooth music, dust inside light cover shows when light is on. Not happy.

Works well, the speaker is good quality for the bathroom. I bought 2 of these for each of my bathrooms but returning one. I don’t like the fact that the controller is battery operated and uses 2 AAA batteries. Who wants to unscrew the switch plate every time you have to replace the batteries. We also had to watch a couple of YouTube videos to figure out the controller, would not work. You have to do minor electrical work if your replacing a preexisting one. The product needs improvements!

This may have been my greatest Home Depot purchase to date. This fun vent fan has turned bath time into an adventure for our little ones, and peace and tranquility for the adults. This was already an upgrade size wise from our previous vent fan, but the added bonus of color and music really puts this product over the top! I'll be upgrading our 2nd bathroom with this fixture as well!

Fairly easy to install. Straightforward directions. You’ll need some extra hardware this fan doesn’t include: cord clamp/strain relief for fan box, wire connectors—for the wires in the ceiling and at the switch (more on this later), and a 4in-to-3in adapter if your home uses a 3in exhaust pipe (like mine). The box led us to believe the remote was wired (for the actual power switch). NOPE! Need to remove a wall switch and join the wires together in the box for its constant AC power needs.

Brand new fan would not conect to switch or phone.

Fan works great. Installation instructions suck, need a constant power not switched and fan will not turn on or operate without linking remote. So if installed and not working dont return just pair remote to unit and it will turn on after 10 seconds of pairing.

There were a couple of challenges here. The pairing of the wireless switch to the unit wasn't clear in the instructions. Usage of the buttons on the switch is relatively confusing as well. 2 buttons that turn off the switch while 1 of them changes the colors. Not user friendly. Frustrating for my spouse because the operation of the switch was to complicated. To much to learn and muscle memory..

I installed two of these to our newly renovated bathrooms recently. They have been a good fan and light combo except they are emitting a high pitch tone when the light is off. When you turn on the led light it goes away. When you begin to dim it using the switch provided it starts to come back. You can't hear it once you leave the bathroom, but while you're in there it is quite unpleasant.

Purchased this for the coolness and it is cool. Speakers sound good and was very easy to sync. Fan is quiet but not as quiet as the NuTone it replaced.

Screw holes to attach are one side only, so unit hangs precariously. Trim collar cannot be installed over drywall. Useless. Internal components must be screwed to housing to keep unit from rattling. Tech is solid. If can coax unit to hang squarely and securely, AND connect remote control to light/fan AND install app (light shows) - AND connect cellphone (favorite tunes) to speaker - unit is more reliable & cheaper than smart tech (w router & Wi-Fi). Not best choice compatibility w Alexa Siri.

We just finished a master bed/bath remodel. My wife enjoys her tub soaks and we purchased this vent fan/light for the lighting options and the speaker function. It has been installed for a couple months now and has worked great for the most part. We had one incident where it would not connect to either of our phones and I had to reset it by turning the breaker off and back on for the bathroom. We also hear a high pitched buzz/interference noise from it. You can kill the power and it stops, and doesn’t start back until you turn on a function. This buzz is 24/7, with and without Bluetooth turned on our phones. I’ve diuble checked grounds, other lighting, other power sources and it seems to be just related to this unit.

I was excited about this purchase originally, the colors are awesome and the sound from the Bluetooth was great! well then it started making a bit of a rattling noise, I took it apart or it back up. Well unfortunately every time it runs for longer tha itn 2 minutes it starts rattling like a fan fin is loose. I've cleaned it and examined it several times, no viable issues. This cost entirely too much to make these noises!
