Easy installation but you may have to enlarge ceiling hole

Easy installation. We did have to get tha additional kit for venting. Very quiet operation. I like the low profile.

This fan was 10 times quieter than the builder fan installed when house was built. It was easy to install. Its takes the moisture out fast, no more mirror fog up.

Replaced the original fan of the same brand that was installed 9 years ago when we had the house built. This unit was a bit larger than the previous so I had to use a drywall knife from the attic side to make it larger but overall it was an easy installation, the hardest part was installing the fan cover at the end since one side didn't lineup correctly as per the instructions so you have to bend the end of the clip to get the installation correctly. It's quiet but anything is better than the helicopter I had going it my bathroom before. Good buy since I purchased it at 50%

I replaced a 40 year old exhaust fan in my powder room with this fan. I needed a fan with a low profile as I only had 2x6 clearance. The install was easy. The old fan was worthless as it had to drive through about 18 feet of 3" plastic flexible pipe. The noise the old fan made because it was stalling was very loud. I first installed this fan and ran it without the exhaust connected to see how loud it would be. IMO it was quiet. Connecting the exhaust made it louder but not obnoxious. Even with 18 feet of exhaust pipe attached it moves a decent amount of air.

Works well but does make a sight bit of noise during operation. This unit may have a bad bearing.

I thought since I was getting a mid price fan, performance would also be middle of the road, but no, it's so quiet I had to put a sign up to remind everybody to turn it off! It's great and bought another one for house I'm flipping!

This is the 3rd fan I will be installing in my house, bath remodel. Easy to install and pulls a lot of air out. The first 2 bathrooms are about 130 sq.ft. and they keep room cleared out.

Needed to replace our noisy fan that was already installed, this fan came up in an email from Home Depot and it was a deal I couldn't pass up. This fan is bigger than the fan in our house so the hubby had to cut a bigger hole and the adapter from the fan to the hose was just a perfect fit. Wow is this fan quiet and blends right in with the beige color paint we had already have on our ceiling.

This fan is valued for it's quiet operation, one of the reasons I chose it. 1.1 sones. But the vent flap clatters around whenever a breeze goes by. Probably several sones... I'm going to try adding some stick-on weather gasket as soon as I can get a ladder up there again. I wish I'd known that before I installed it.

Have new home but fans sounded like a train but this fan is ultra quiet for a second bathroom.and very good at removing smells to moisture.

Great fan to move air. Quiet operation. This is the one you're looking for.

The old unit was much smaller and I had to cut a larger area of the drywall to actually get the new fan in the wall. This has caused me to patch a section of the wall next to the unit. Other than this inconvenience I like the unit. It is quiet and moves a lot of air.

love love love it! nutone told me what to install in existing bathroom after i gave them model # of what was there, it's shallow to fit in pre existing spaces where you can't reach attic, but may have to cut some sheetrock. no big deal. really realy quiet and pulls like crazy in small powder room HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Although this fan was quite a bit quieter than my fan that came with my park model trailer, I was expecting it to be even quieter. It is still a big improvement. There are not many exhaust fans offered with a depth of 4", so I would defiinitely recomend this one.

The 1 sons noise of LPN80 is a huge improvement over the traditional small models we replaced that have 3 sons noise. Installation height is low to fit inside 2x4 ceiling studs. Highly recommended where height is limited. We use the silent 0.3 sons noise XM110 model in the rest of the house that has enough height clearance.

Good quality construction.The new fan is such an improvement from the noisy old fan we tolerated with for eighteen years. I would highly recommend this product to any one. It was also nice that it had a three inch duct adapter. It made it so easy to connect to the existing three inch ductwork.

We replaced a noisy, 1984 fan and wish we had done it sooner. It's so quiet I went back to be sure it was on. Easy install too!

We were restricted by size in purchasing a bathroom exhaust fan. This model was the only one that would meet our needs. We had it professionally installed by an electrician but I don't think that is necessary if you are moderately handy. So far the fan is doing its job. It is extremely quiet. We had to install it on the wall and it has a large footprint. We didn't care and just wanted something quiet and efficient. The price was a bit high and I found for less a few days later but by that time the HD delivery arrived. All in all we are very satisfied.
