It was pretty easy to install. I did have to get into the attic to hook up the hard pipe vent. It is nice to have the option to connect into an existing flex pipe if one was there previously. Owners are very happy.

This is described as a replacement for the former Nutone 8814R unit. It definitely is not, and costumers should know this. It will not fit in the same space. Nutone is now owned by Broan and the products are different.

do you like rattling raspy noise coming from your fan? we didn't think so. also, it's not as powerful as you might think. not impressed with the "quiet" - it isn't. not impressed with the representative telling us how powerful the fan is - in our opinion, it isn't. 1 star and would like to return this item.

We appreciate your review on the AN110 ventilation fan. This model is rated at 110 cfm's with 3.0 sones. It should be ducted using a 4" round duct size and we do recommend rigid, metal ducting. Simple installation, very solid and sleek looking. I sized it to the small bathroom size 40sq ft., and wanted large enough to handle the shower steam. This will be an efficient powerful fan that will serve this bathroom very well. Nutone is my favorite fan company hands down.
