I repainted my black vinyl shutters a satin black and these pins fit snuggly into the holes the originals came out of. It was easy as 3.14159....

The shutter pins are just what I ordered. Except they are white.

You’d think these would be a breeze to install, but vinyl siding bends inward and keeps you from getting these in as far as you’d like. A bit of a pain. Test for depth of your hole first with a long nail. You may have to trim these down because of limited hole depth.

It does what is supposed to.

These fasteners are necessary when installing the plastic shutters we ordered. The previous shutters were installed with them and as they are not easily removed without cutting them up and drilling them out, new ones are a necessity. Once in, they don’t pull out, so make sure they’re where you want them before putting them more than a third of the way in.

shutter loc fasteners bend too easily and you should order 50% more than you need.

We had to remove our shutters when we repainted our house and the original fasteners became damaged. These replacement shutter fasteners worked perfectly when putting our shutters back on the house.

Had to replace one that was broke on our 40 yr old house. Although I only needed one because of the value it is nice to have extras!

A bit flimsy and hard to get a tight fasten to the brick siding. Used true metal fasteners instead.

Used them to put our shutters back up after I took them down to paint them. I cut the old ones to get the shutters off. They worked as expected. Not sure why our local store doesn't carry them, shipping would have cost me as much as the cost of the fasteners, drove to another store that carried them.

Just what we wanted, matched the shutters perfectly.

These were used to replace broken fasteners on a shutter that was clattering outside my bedroom window in the wind. They were easy to install as replacements, and the shutter is securely in place after one month. Hopefully these will last years, and not break off anytime soon.
