Really can’t rate the product overall since it arrived broken. It was packed with no padding on the corners and was obviously dropped on its end during shipping so two corners of the plexiglass were broken. We returned it to Home Depot within 30 minutes of it being delivered. I asked if I could reorder it right then, with the $50 discount we had originally ordered it with, and were told HD online is different than in-store so we’d need to call them to reorder. We decided to not repurchase.

Very hard to put together and flimsy material. It was extremely hard to put the joint in between the two awnings. Yes these are two separate awnings that basically are sold as one with a flimsy plastic joint in addition for you to attach them. Definitely not worth this extortionate price and add at least 300 dollars if you are hiring a team of two to install it. I need two other awnings and will certainly not buy this again.

Our panels provide lifetime glazing; does not fracture, become brittle or turn yellow over time and comes with a 3-year product warranty. The panel might seem flimsy, but it can withstand wind up to 75 ml/h and snow load up to 20.48 lb./ft². Looks nice and keeps the rain from the door. There is a leak where the 2 pieces joined that we will fix when it is not so rainy.

The instructions were easy to follow. Don’t rush. Two people are suggested for installation, but I managed by myself, just be careful. Good quality, sturdy, and does what it’s supposed to do.

The solar grey panel vs. clear panel is a great choice to hide the dust and pollen that may blow onto it during windy days. With all the rain lately, this canopia stretches out and away from the doorway by 3 feet to deflect the rain from seeping into the garage.

Very disppointed
Could not find a HD contractor that would even attempt to install them. Found someone who did installation with added support. First wind storm, one section came apart & just hung. Today we get a little over an inch of snow & I can here creaking & I (70yo woman) had to go out & brush snow off. I wouldn't suggest this product for a dog house. Other than looking nice, nah!

snow collapse after first storm
The awning roof collapsed after the first heavy snowfall. It clearly can't handle the weight of the snow. I thought it was supposed to be durable and weather-resistant.

tools not as advertised
The product description said no special tools were needed, but I found myself running to the hardware store multiple times. The mechanic system wasn't as easy to use as promised, making the whole process quite frustrating.
