Sleek and aesthetically pleasing this oven does all the work! My wife and I are very happy with our new oven!

The Cafe is a very nice high-end oven. We replaced an older basic GE oven - since CAFE products are part of GE, the installation into this space was easy as the dimensions are similar. The CAFE oven works great, with nice features like slide out racks and meat temp probes. The CAFE appliance has a very classic commercial look that improve the look of any kitchen.

The oven doesn’t omit any heat around the doors. It’s quiet and cooks the food very evenly. We were surprised to find out it even had an Air fryer feature that we can’t wait to use!

Terrible. We bought this in March 2022. It's now May 2024. All of the sudden in the wee hours of the morning it started beeping and saying "F222" error (overheating) tho it was off all night. I called GE to get some help troubleshooting it and they said I'd have to hire one of their technicians to come out ($120 first visit + labor and parts for next visits). Self-clean function also makes the whole house smell like burning plastic even with all the windows open. Also takes a while to preheat.

This GE Cafe 27 inch double oven is a welcome addition to our kitchen and a terrific complement to our suite of other GE Cafe appliances. The oven simply works and it works well. Based on the performance of our previous oven, which was only a few years old, these ovens pre-heat faster, cook more evenly, and look much nicer. We love the convection feature and the newly added air-fry feature that was installed with the very first software update. My personal favorite feature is the ability to pre-heat the oven from my phone. We have yet to try the wired temperature probe, but if it works as well as the other features, I’m sure it will become a favorite as well. The only negatives we’ve experienced so far are relatively minor, nothing more than a nuisance which should be corrected on subsequent models. 1. Why do both oven lights not work independently? Not the biggest concern but annoying nonetheless. 2. Make the terrific sliding racks easier to remove and install. Each time they are installed or removed it tends to scratch the sides of the oven. A potential design flaw which could lead to premature and unnecessary damage over time. With that being said, I do not want to end on a negative note. This oven is worth the price because it works well and elevates the aesthetic of the space it occupies.

My new double wall oven I have cooked Thanksgiving now. A roast and quiche. Everything so far bakes, roast or cooks very evenly and delicious

I love these ovens. They heat quickly., the controls are very simple, foods cooked evenly and the look great next to my Cafe refrigerator. We tested this baby out at Thanksgiving and everything cooked nicely. And all the cookies we’ve been baking have turned out great. And added bonus of the changing pictures on the front!!!

So far, we are loving our new oven. It heats evenly and accurately and is beautiful to look at. The screen controls are easy to use and I love the phone app.

We are enjoying our new Cafe ovens. The Wi-Fi feature is a nice plus.

We replaced a 50 year-old double oven (22 years of which the clock hadn't worked) with the Cafe. Now we have convection and air-fry, in addition to the usual array of functions. It looks beautiful, connects with the internet so we can control it from afar, plus, the clock works. One drawback, the shelves in the convection oven are a bit too large, so they scratch the oven sides when the position is changed. Graphite lubricant is provided "in case they stick", which helps, but the company should have bitten the bullet and had the shelves replaced

Love these double ovens. One of the best appliance purchase that I’ve made (the other was my Cafe refrigerator). They’re easy to use and easy to clean. Worth every Penny . Love, love, love them.

Oven installation went very well. I'm anxious to experience the on-line features. First batch of cookies were perfect.

I find it very easy to set up and use the oven. The clock even resets for Daily Savings Time.

I bought this oven to replace an older GE oven. The look of the oven and the easy to use control panel add a nice touch to our kitchen. Beautiful, sleek look, and the performance of the oven is why I'm glad to give this review. It was a bit more than the other GE models, but well worth the price. I'm very happy with my new oven. Highly recommend!!

We replaced our old black Ge wall oven and this one fits perfect looks nice and has lots of features. Great product.

I bought this a month or so ago and I love it.The only thing is it take a while to pre heat but that's no big deal but the food comes out perfect every time..

I bought this beautiful oven in the white and copper handles and I was super excited for it to be a smart oven, so when I am on my way home from work I can preheat the oven so it’s ready for dinner as soon as I walk in the door. However, you have to hit the “remote enable” button every single time you use it if you want the smart feature to work. So, if I click the remote enable button, and someone simply opens the oven door, it disables it again. So much for being smart. As far as the app working to control the oven, it does work well if you remember to push that button after every use. Also, as you can see in the pictures, my cabinets are an off-white, so the white color of the oven is a very true white, just FYI. It makes more of a difference with the refrigerator as there’s much more white exposed. It blends fine, but definitely a difference. I do love that each oven has its own timer, I love the probe, and the top rack of each oven slides on ball bearings and it works beautifully. The lower racks are just standard metal on metal, and they kind of screech and wobble out, but I don’t use them that much anyway. If you’re buying this oven just for looks, it is quite beautiful, just don’t buy it if you absolutely have to have the smart feature and might not always remember to turn it on every time you open the door.

All racks are too large and scratch the porcelain interior of the ovens. One of the sliding racks was too large to even fit into the oven. Ovens arrived without the temperature probe. No Owners Manual was included. Overall, I was very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail, especially considering the price.

We love the double oven. I cannot understand how anyone would have issues with this midel. It is so easy to use, and the convection choice saves us 15 minutes of cooking at least every time. I like the visual controls, I enjoy the visual controls too.

Brand new for me. So far I love it! Easy to use app and love the screen saver display.

Love the display on the oven. Even tells me the weather. Convection doesn’t leave the fan on. It turns off and on “as needed” to circulate the air. Air fry leaves the fan on. Tried the temperature probe on corn beef roast to 160F. It was not done when the temperature reached this point. Took another 45 minutes. One other problem is trying to cancel the timer. Haven’t figured that out yet.

The oven itself cooks well - the lower star rating is due to the electronic interface itself. The racks, convection, and aesthetics of the oven are great. The problem are the obvious UI failures that make it far more difficult to operate the oven than needed. For example, if you start a timer, you can't CHANGE the timer amount (and attempting to cancel the timer also turns off the oven). Because it's a touchscreen, steam makes it difficult to operate. More concerningly, I have needed to cut the power to the oven multiple times in order to "reset it" since the UI locks up on the panel. Specifically, attempting to use Sabbath Mode will result in the interface getting "stuck" with no way to resolve it (even using the separate application).

We are very pleased with this new oven. It cooks well and evenly. It has a nice an air fryer option which is the size of the whole upper oven so I can cook a lot for my big family. The only criticism I would have is that it is awkward to add more time to the timer when you find that you need something to stay in a little longer. Otherwise, this is a great oven.

Outstanding upgrade for double ovens. Function, appearance, and ease of use are hallmarks to unit. HD install went well and special thanks to installer who was patient and helped with instructions

The oven temp is often wrong, but more frustrating, is inconsistent. If you adjust the temp for one use, it isn't the same next time you bake. My wife does a lot of baking and complains about it either being too hot or too cold.
