These are expensive but well made stair caps. They cut very cleanly with a standard table saw with a sharp blade. If you are careful with your cuts you will likely just need to caulk around the edges. One thing to note is that they are adamant that you use Urethane based glue (no solvents). They claim it will delaminate the material, which I'm guessing has a story behind it. Bottom line is I used Loctite Premium polyurethane adhesive and a few strategic brad nails and the steps are rock solid. One tube of Loctite did 7 steps for me.

They are beautiful, but I am concerned about the durability. Pretty sure it would be a bad idea to move anything up or down the stairs with a hand cart. Possibility of breaking the nose of the stairs. But they are beautiful!! I ended up putting a carpet tread from Home Depot on the stairs because my dogs were falling down the stairs.

That's good. It's easy to install.

Looks beautiful, a professional painter thought it was real hardwood.

Cheap looking with thin lamenate covering, trying to look like the lifeproof flooring. I returned it.

The best to finish a complete look on stairs

Needed smaller size 32" instead of 42".

It's a perfect match to the Lifeproof Vinyl Plank flooring, Fresh Oak color. The treads are very rigid. I placed them over 35 year old 2X10 stairs which were not completely flat in the center. Even with copious amounts of the recommended adhesive a couple of them require some discreet finish nails.

Good product! Happy with choice!

After much online research these were the only treads that would fit over the existing bullnose of our wooden stairs. The treads were easy to cut to fit and didn't chip from the saw blade. A snap to install. They look so much better than the old wood stairs and give the entry to our home a new / fresh look. Able to match our existing flooring close enough with the color options available. So far no complaints, although we have only had them installed for a week so I can't comment on how they will wear over time but I expect similar to other laminate floors.

We replaced our carpeted stairs with the Cap A Fresh Oak/Elk Wood stair treads. They look amazing. The quality of the product is not the same as my LifeProof flooring (treads are partical board covered with vinyl). But, they match our Fresh Oak flooring perfectly.

Bought these cap a tread 18 months ago and 1 just got damaged by my dog. Contacted Home Depot and learned the it is discontinued. Contacted Zamma with no answer. Now I am stuck with 1 damaged step that can't be replaced. Don't buy from this manufacturer. ZAMMA,
