My only complaints would be first the price. $50 per tread is ridiculous. Second complaint is that on the landing you have to use a T molding strip to transition into the rest of the flooring. I wish they had the T&G setup so you could just snap into the flooring for a cleaner look.

Worked out great

The tread cap match the flooring exactly. The material cut nicely on my chop and table saw, and trimmed out well with the available T track.

Easy to install looks great

The product is good quality and a big timesaver, but their was only one pattern in a shipment of 13 that I ordered. I was told by HD that is all they make, I returned all and used regular flooring for treads and risers. The regular flooring has 6 patterns. If you don't care if all stairs are the same pattern these are a good way to go as they will meet all building standards.

Match perfect, to the flooring

These are too expensive for me to use on all my stairs, but it was perfect for the top stair and looks great butted up against my floor. This gives a nice clean look and was well worth the extra money for the entryway to my room. It is very dense/hard and looks great despite the things I have done to it during installation - hit the edges and the front with a hammer, banged it around trying to wedge it in when I hadn't cut it small enough, dripped glue on it, got caulk on it and let the 80 pound dog walk all over it. This bodes well for long term wear. I am a moderately competent DIYer and overall I found this very user friendly.

Color doesnt match at all. It is very very light in comparison to the picture online.

The product would of worked wonders but, wasn't long enough for our stairs.

We had 50 year old stairs that had been painted, carpeted,and refinished over the many years and needed a face lift. This product, although not inexpensive, worked great! Easy to install and very durable. Wish we had found these years earlier! They look clean and neat again.

This product is good for the DIYer. You don't need to cut your steps and hope you get it straight. They just fit right over your original step. I am shocked it has not caught on.

The product turned out better than I could of hoped, however it was the associate Veronica who made the entire process easy. I will definitely order what ever I need from her in the future.

This is a quality product. I have two sets of stairs. The first I did the stair noses in an effort to save money. HUGE MISTAKE. I would never do that again. You have to cut your stairs so they're shorter and don't pass building code, it takes a ton of time and labor, and in the end they're flemsy and far from durable. This product, however, is very solid. You make 2 cuts and glue/nail the tread down. They look great, feel 10x better than the nose caps, and definitely seem durable. Don't make a bad cut though or you cost yourself $50.

easy to work with

Makes the stairs look so much cleaner! The top stair was a bear to do and landing stair as well but otherwise awesome. I wish the price wasn't so incredibly steep.

Good product, make sure you measure 3 times and cut once with a good blade. For the price it cost you don't want to make a mistake and the delay for special order items can cost even more on a project.

Love it! Very easy to install and not slippery at all. Matched our Lakeshore Pecan laminate perfectly. They look great! No instructions came in the boxes but we found a video on Home Depot that explained everything and we were off and running.

I installed the Trafficmaster Lakeshore Pecan flooring in my home last November. I have a stair landing that I wanted to cover in the flooring as well. I purchased the Lakeshore Pecan Cap A Tread and riser. It is a perfect match to the flooring. I wasn't too sure since there is n't a good photo online and this system is not available in the store. I haven't installed it yet, but I am very excited to do so in the near future. I love the look so much that I will eventually replace all of my stairs with this system and extend the flooring into the hallway upstairs. The only downside I see to this system is that it will cost me more to cover all of my stairs with it than it did for me to install 650 square feet of the laminate flooring in my downstairs.
