Would be better if you didn’t have to buy baseboard trim. Had different style of baseboard in home and didn’t need to buy more to just store in attic

Quality control is poor. I was replacing some headboard and trim that had gotten water damaged. This time, the trim had at least 1/4" of paint in the lower trim's groove. That had to be dug out so that the headboard and trim fit together. Great idea, trim and board kit, but needs better quality control.

We were pleased to find the matching Cape Cod base moulding and chair rail trim kits that we needed to add to newly installed bead board for a new wall. Matches existing base and chair rail. Only problem is that MDF is not as forgiving as wood.

Redoing TINY 1/2 bath in 1942 cape cod. This was perfect for beadboard wainscoting we put on.

The only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is because the primer that was applied to these pieces of trim before I purchased them literally filled the rabbit notch meant to be used as sort,of a way to capture the bead board or wainscoting panels... This May have been avoided had I been able to pick the individual stock lengths out myself but unfortunately I had to purchase these online and have them shipped to a store. Therefor I had to spend unnessecary time wasted on scraping out that cavity so that my panels would sit evenly where they were intended to. Other than that, they look great and im happy with them.

Just as described and easy to cut, fit and paint. Not usually a fan of MDF, but these pieces definitely were the answer to this project.

A lot of the grooves get filled with primer, which has to be removed manually before installation. Also the packaging does not sufficiently protect the molding from damage.

We purchased this to use in a hall that has carpet but it doesn’t work well at all. After only opening one pack we returned the rest and just bought separate pieces of baseboard and chair railing.

This product seemed like it was going to make installing bead board easy and quick beacause it is pre-grooved. We bought four packs. Not a single piece was smooth. Whatever paint or primer is on them was extremely pitted. Spent more time getting them smooth than if I just routed a groove myself. They come wrapped in plastic, so you wont see the poor quality until you open it up. Dissapointed Home Depot would carry such a terrible product. Recomend using something else

I have purchased this product group (wainscotting baseboard, chair rail and beadboard panels) twice previously, and was pleased with results. But HD supplier must have been downgraded. Quality this time was poor. Baseboard slot too small for the beadboard panels. Prime paint sloppy.

This worked out very well. I installed bead board. It was very straight and cut beautiful ly,took paint well, came with plenty of primer so it was easy to sand out any imperfections

great product for the price

Loved the ease of using this product with the bead board.

Only wish there were more styles available

This looks great, but it's a bit hard to cut and some of the pieces already had nicks and dents. Overall it seems like a good product, however it appears to be mdf and not solid wood. So, it is a little difficult to cut and hard to drive a nail through. I am still working with it, so, I will have to see how the final result looks to fully judge.

Product was scratched through the plastic covering that was to protect it. Probably mishandled in the store or on a truck..
