Fit and finish of the item were perfect. I wear a large and Carhartt large is just right for me; sleeve and torso length are excellent. I did think that it would be a bit warmer by itself, but over a thermal long sleeve it's fine.

This sweatshirt has some good weight to it and fits 'True to Size' in my opinion. With it being a heavyweight sweatshirt, it's very warm and feels like high quality materials. I've worn this in 35-40 degree weather a couple times for a few hours, and I've stayed nice and toasty the whole time.

I ordered an XL in size which is what I would normally order in such an item. This particular hoodie comes in a loose fit and it is of a LONG cut. Together that made the XL size a bit to large for me. I passed it on to my son who is a bit taller than I. I'm forced to order another one in size Large.

Perfect for working when it is chilly or raining. I work outdoors doing highway maintenance all day. This hoodie is my go-to in the cooler weather. It is not too heavy but not too light on chilly days. It also protects from the rain, so I don't get drenched.

I purchased the hoodie and was hoping it was as good as the previous one.. Unfortunately I was disappointed..it was just as heavy of the fabric but it doesn't have the meshing inside to keep the cold out.. not sure what the hidden pocket is for, not really big enough for anything.. Loved the previous model just disappointed that it's not as good this time. I've been a diehard Carhartt nut for all my life now kinda question on the quality anymore

Definitely a loose fit for wearing over other bulky clothes. If you want to wear it under a jacket don't get the loose fit. Not quite as heavy thermal as I was expecting from Carhartt. I wear it everyday in wind or rain.

It is great, keeps me warm but with out the bulk of the lined zip hoodie

Nice quality, comfortable fit. My last three or four Carhartt sweatshirts have been thermal lined and I thought moving to a "heavy weight" would be a warmer garment. Not quite the situation, seems that the thermal are a bit warmer...especially in windy weather.

wind goes thru it much easier than my old one which had the white insulation in it

Son uses it for outdoor work every day. Keeps him from getting soaking wet and keeps him warm too.

Fits as expected with room to layer as needed. In temps into the 30's can be worn over a tshirt for casual use. If outdoors for extended periods will be comfortable over several layers. Quality is there as expected from the company.

I bought it as a Christmas gift for my son in law. It looks good and has good weight to it.

Loose fit, heavyweight hoodie. Rain defender. I am 5’10” 190lbs. I originally ordered a large but it was way too big. I ordered a medium and it is a perfect fit. I like the loose fit. It is a little longer than what I wanted but I like the length now. It is a true heavyweight hoodie. Perfect for outdoors work and play. Strong zipper and deep, deep pockets. I prefer the hood with two seams instead of one down the middle. It is soft and comfortable to wear inside the house. I bought and returned the flint and tinder 10 year hoodie. I prefer carhartt.

Love it. Great fit and feel of the material. The hood does not sag when wearing. I have had my last classic sweatshirt for over 6 years. It is a little beat up for around town but still very wearable for work. I also like the split pocket. It holds keys from falling out.

For the price I paid I thought it would be lined for warmth, and new looking after it was washed. The convince of not feeling wet is good, feeling cold this winter is not so good.

This is the BEST sweatshirt! Everyone in my family has one for working on the farm.

It needs functional inside pockets inside the hoodie The small inside pocket inside the right pocket dumps my glasses when sitting down. Fortunately, somebody noticed these glasses on the chair.

The sweat shirts are very good and very durable they do run a little bit big but other then that I am very satisfied
