Quality product. Durable and adjustable.

I really like the adjustable part of this box. But being a plastic box it’s quite flexible and relies on the cover of the 240 volt receptacle for support. So you might need another way to support the box if your waiting on the drywall.

I installed this on a joist in the basement, so I had to flatten the tangs on the clamp to fit it between two 2x4s. I liked that I could install two screws vertically and two horizontally. The box is not terribly sturdy. It does flex a little when I uplug an electrical device. There is plenty of room in the box for pigtails.

These are the only way to fly if you're unsure of your final finished wall thickness. Yes, they are $5 more than a standard box fixed flange box, but if you ever decide to add paneling or tile at some later date, these allow for that adjustment without mickey mouseing the box with extensions and such. Just a turn of the adjustment screw is all it takes for a perfect depth placement. I think they are well worth the extra cost.

This is a great box to use in a kitchen remodel. It’s adjustable for tile work.

Worked better than I expected, used it to install lights in a metal carport and it worked well on the 2 1/2” square tubing.

I hate how it holds the wire. They need a new wire holding system in my opinion
