we should not have needed this. Home Depot should advertise in clear view that the door opener is for 7 foot doors.

Easy to install. Worked in allowing my garage door to fully open. Needed this to prevent me from hitting the door if I ever forgot to lower the ROPS on my tractor.

No written instructions for assembling. Need to use smart phone app. If not in cell phone range, impossible to assemble

The product works fine, but its way overpriced for what comes with it. They should just make openers for 8 foot garage doors, since that's the majority being installed these days. Making you pay through the nose for an extension you have to have, only comes across as greed.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Most garage door openers are designed for a 7ft standard garage door. It is printed on the opener carton that the opener/rail fits garage doors up to 7ft high. This means that for a higher door, a rail extension is needed. Our residential openers will have 8ft and 10ft rail extensions. Anything higher than 10ft, you will need to contact support or a local dealer in your area. Thank you for being a customer and for taking the time to review our product. Kits not complete on shelf
Rail kit worked as advertised, however had to go through three boxes to make sure all the parts were included. Each box had been previously opened and something removed. Better quality control over what items get put back on the shelf should be maintained.
