My 2nd Champion purchase! This 19 inch Champion tiller starts easy and does a great job! The tiller arrived in a crate and packaged well, no disappointments. I will definitely put this Champion tiller to work for years to come!

The tiller worked really well for starting a my garden bed. Took about 40 minutes to fill 3/4 acre. The land had large rocks and logs but those did not damage or stall the tiller. Would recommend for any small to mid-size garden. Would work for large gardens but will require additional time

I did the curb side pick-up and the employee was very friendly and helpful in loading this heavy item into my truck. Assembly was easy, but follow the instructions, like when to put on the wheels, because there are some bolts for the handle that are hard to get to if the wheels are on. One pull of the starter rope and it ran smoothly. The Forward and Reverse feature is very helpful when moving it and tilling. I just got it & it's great for my father who loves his gardening.

Hi, I use this for our large 1/2 acres home garden for a variety of fruits and vegetables. It is a very versatile, ergonomic, powerful garden tiller that is relatively easy and straight forward to use. It has several other uses besides a garden! Thanks Champion!

I purchased this item as I have too many weeds on my front lawn. Tiller is small but does its job. Handle bars would be better if they were just a little more curved. Otherwise good!

Around flower beds and gardens great for making beds and gardens. Has plenty of power to get the hard jobs done. Will be using ink tiller for years to come, very pleased with the results.

It worked like a charm. I made.one pass in my garden and it was ready to plant. It trashed the grass like it was sand. I don't like the left and right levers being so high but I will get used to that, it is a safety precaution. The motor really has the power. Great Machine.

After putting together. It started up on first pull . Used to till up my back yard which was all weeds and stuff. Tilled right though it with ease. Had plenty of power. The only draw back is it doesn't have natural you have to pull pins move tires. That I don't like.. Champion tiller is a great machine.

We used this product to till up a new garden area. It did and great job and made our life easier without have to dig out the garden area as we have done in the past for other garden areas. There was hardly any work on my end except keeping the tiller going in a straight line which was no effort on my end. The tiller did all the hard work and within two passes we had the soil all torn up. We did a few more pass as I wanted to till it deeper after we had removed the old grass and weeds. Once I add back in garden soil, I made a few passes to mix the soil into the old soil and we were ready to plant. Putting it together was easy, but I had my wife help me as she is a pro at putting together just about anything. The only issue we had was the handlebars are not level. They are off about 1/4 of an inch. We figured the drill holes on the main body of the tiller was off just enough when drilled at the factory to give the handlebars the slight angle. We tried several different ways when tightening them but once they were tight the handles still had a tilt to them. It's doesn't change much in the handling of the tiller, and it wasn't worth the time and effort to ask for an exchange. We already waited two weeks for the tiller and another week for me to get my vacation time so I would have time to work on the tiller and garden. We needed to get the garden in, or we would miss the window for planting. We plan to till up more garden area this fall for next year and my wife wants to expand her flower garden. In the future we will till up the whole yard to mix in better soil and plant a good quality grass for our area and we know this tiller can handle to job without breaking our backs. Both my wife and are glad we purchased from Champion. I appreciate how easy the setup instructions were to follow!! Got everything ready quickly and on point. We would definitely purchase it again!

I bought this for small tilling work and it shreds much like a Mantis, but runs and is built of much better quality.

This 22 inch front tine tiller is very STRONG ! The engine started on the first pull and has tilled 4 gardens. We are very happy with it. Assembled easy also ! Super easy to start.

This tiller-cultivator is overall a good bang for your buck. I was looking for a small one to traverse several areas of my yard. I've used the tiller for about 15 hours now. The tiller did a good job through grass, rocky soil, and top soil. Some suggestions: -One of the wheels kept falling off, even after installing per manufacturer specs. I recommend using some red threadlocker on both wheel bolts to keep them in place. -The pin for the wheel adjustment is rather small, and bounced out after use in rocky soil. I lost the pin (luckily was able to find it), but I ended up buying a longer one with additional pins. It may be due to the rockier soil I'm working in causing vibration, but I was disappointed with the pin falling out. -I try to remove the tines every 30 minutes of use or after tilling in high grass. Luckily, Champion makes these easy to remove - however, one of the tines became stuck in place and took a good amount of WD-40 and hammering to get off. I found oiling the axle each time helps to get the tines off and keeps it generally clearer. Overall, for less than $150, I'm very pleased with the overall operation and ease of use of this tiller-cultivator. With just a few simple modifications, it works exactly as I need it to. #sweepstakes

Great machine. Great power. A tremendous upgrade when expanding our garden and at a solid price. The self propel is possibly the greatest selling point. Set up is simple. Tires are excellent. Switching the wheels to and from wheel drive and freewheel is easy. Cranks on one pull. The depth lever is a helpful feature both for storage and for tilling at the desired depth. It absolutely does the job.

Are use this to loosen up my raised bed garden. It does exactly what I wanted to do. I recommend it. It breaks ground usually, and goes as deep as I would like it is a light and mobile so I can move it in and out of my raised gardens.

Easy to assemble and works great. Works good on hard ground and has plenty of power. Nice size for my garden and seems to be a well built product. I would recommend for a small tiller.

Using to cultivate old corral area to create a larger garden ... so far so good still have a few rows to go After tons of rain was able to drag a harrow behind Kawasaki mule to try and level it out and rip out the major weeds .... Then using the champion cultivator made rows and mixed in some compost and manure. Wonderful .... I did have trouble starting sometimes it took forever , once I gave up and pulled out the shovel and and worked up one 50 ft row.. ugh!... went back to trying to start cultivator. It just would stick so I would have trouble getting the pull started. ( I use a weed whacker and chain saw and have no trouble getting them started). It does start easier now, not real easy I hold my breath and hope it starts. But when it starts it does a great job!

Easy to put together, powerful and doesn't hesitate. Did a great job on tearing up the new area we moved our garden to. Worth the money and would definitely recommend for anyone with a small to medium size garden!

I received this tiller and Champion promptly sent me a replacement part that was broken during shipping. This tiller gets the job done & has plenty of power. I especially like the forward and reverse function, most front tillers don't have reverse but this model does and it makes it much easier to move around and till.

This tool gets the job done quickly and efficiently, compared to some of the slow running corded and cordless versions. The high output engine tears up the dirt tremendously. Hang on because it will get it done.

I recently bought the 212 cc Champion front time tiller. I like the extra weight of the large engine over the times. After about 6 hours of use the rear wheel bracket began to break. I called the company customer service and they send me a new one within 3 days at no charge. I have been using it with the new bracket and it is holding up fine so I just hope it way a weld or material issue on that specific bracket. One kinda strange thing is the pull cord is on the right side of the engine. The most ergonomic way to start it is to pull with my left hand. I'm right handed so it feels strange. That said it starts easily and doesn't require a huge pull. I hope this helps.

Tilled some virgin ground with it and handled it no problem tons of power and decent price

Working perfectly, not hard to use, easy assembly. Wheels kinda flimsy but mechanically works great. I highly recommend it for light gardening.

Used only once so far. Tilled good, problem was I had to work on it before using it the first time. The forward cable was not attached under the shield. Pretty depressing to start out. Took it apart, jumped belt off, put cable in slot, then worked fine.
