Great organizer for small closets. I installed this un my daughters room and its a great way to utilized all the space possible.

love that u can put in just shelves or add drawers to it. But when i opened the box (box was previously opened and retaped) the shelves are damaged. Have to retake back to store and hope it doesnt happen again.

BEWARE! As if these MDF sets aren’t cheap enough, the company is now pinching pennies by leaving one side of the shelves UNLAMINATED! Which means you will receive shelves with one side white and one side unfinished brown. What’s worse, the instructions tell you that the unfinished sides are in GRAY, but if you assemble per the instructions, you will assemble the unit UPSIDE DOWN and will have to take everything apart and re-assemble. These units used to have all-white shelving. UNACCEPTABLE!

Moved into my house with a big space for the closet but only a single wooden bar I had to get on my tip toes to hang clothes on. The house is 112 years old so the walls are thick plaster. Normal closets wouldn’t hold well so I found this (mostly) freestanding closet. We’ve had it for 3 years now and I still love everything about it! I honestly can’t find a single negative thing about it.

We are now in our third home that we have used these to design a custom closet in and we won't use anything else! The quality is very good, they are easy to put together, and the value is unbeatable. In our current closet we have two towers with drawers and two with shelves only, all in white. Our closet is so well organized and light and bright, we just love them! I would say they take about 20 to 40 minutes to put together, depending on the amount of drawers.

I installed two of these units yesterday in our walk-in closet in about 5 hours. We each gained a foot of rail space and 5 feet of shelf space. I wanted to anchor the towers to studs, but didn’t verify that rods would fit both sides, so had to move one. I attached the wall anchors to the bottoms of shelves on that one. The anchors are a pain, but safety first! Sort the screws before building the towers. The bracket/rail system is easy to install. Happy with this closet upgrade!

Love this closet maid system! Super easy to put together and very well made. I had it all installed by myself in two hours.

Extremely easy to put together. Solid, nice looking system. Using inside a small reach in closet (under 6 feet) with sliding doors. Tower sits on one side, double hung rods on the other.

For the price this is a decent closet set. Worked out perfectly for our coat closet.

A lil expensive $60 + for 1 drawer but still less time & $ than custom built closet.

Keep in mind that if you have baseboards youll have to trim the feet a little bit in order to get the closet system to actually reach the wall. The baseboards will hinder the shelving system from touching the wall. Besides that it was pretty straight forward to build and did it in a few hours. Needed help when mounting to the wall because it’s quite heavy. I changed the handle bars to match the rest of the room and spray painted the rods as well. Loved the outcome.

The only thing I liked in our old closet was the chandelier, so my boyfriend said he’d build me a closet to match the chandelier. He gutted our walk-in closet and bought this system. He customized some of the pieces but mainly used Closet Maid pieces. We bought a “Billy” bookcase from another store and turned it into a shoe rack. Everything turned out amazing! This closet system was worth every penny!

This 12 inch closet system by closetmaid is by all means a lower production value then its 16+ inch models. Only one side of the shelves are finished white so once you reach 4 feet off the ground all upper shelves are hideous and unfinished. The only fix is to flip the shelves leaving the usable side raw particle board. Highly unsatisfied - No longer a patron of this brand distributor. Online images show mostly finished shelves from past production models, overall highly misleading.

My. Loser is 4.5 ft and this product says it fits 4 ft long. IT DOES NOT. My husband was installing it today and I was looking forward to coming to home and being able to use my closet again. I am so disappointed.

I really like this organizer. It works great and was pretty easy to put together.

The design appealed to me. I needed a set I could modify for a lower than normal ceiling (75 tall inches inside closet). Except for cutting 9 inches off of the top of upper unit sides, I followed all directions with very satisfying results. Good kit!

We added silver rods instead of the ones that came with it and it completely transformed it into looking more high end! Very happy with the end result

Our baseboards made it to where the closet couldn't sit flat against the wall on the bottom half so the screws aren't screwed in all the way on the bottom, but the top is screwed into a trim piece of wood on the wall so it's sturdy. Looks good!

I am blown away by how affordable this system was and how easy it was to install. Can’t speak to durability yet as we just installed it but once everything is secured to the wall it feels pretty darn good! For the price point this is a 10/10.

Easy to put together. We did have to drill separate holes for the doors to fit correctly but was really no big deal! Exactly what we needed at an exceptional price!!

Says all unfinished wood is gray in the instructions. That's not the case, so if you follow the exact instructions you'll build the shelves in upside down. Either fix the verbiage, or fix the images.

We needed a sturdy system for all of our oldest daughters items. This was ea⁰0sy to install, we will be getting one for each closet in our home for better organization.

I purchased two kits, the 12 inch tower and 25 inch tower kits. I am a single mom with limited experience but was able to put this together myself. I did buy no drill wall anchors instead of the ones that come with this kit, way easier!

I installed a few of these in our 3’ wide closets and they work great, even though it says 4’ minimum.

The closet system was easy to put together. It is sturdy and fits perfectly. I did not have to cut the rails for it to fit in my closet which was great.
