I used the ClosetMaid Closet Organizer Drawers in a recent closet organizer project. All parts were accounted for, and the assembly was very easy. The finished product looks great and has added a lot of functionality to the space. Highly recommended!

Very easy to assemble and goes in perfectly. Much better than the shallow drawer

Previous positive experiences with ClosetMaid storage products led me to order this ClosetMaid Selectives 9.82 inch High X 23.48 inch Wide White Laminate Closet Drawer to add to my existing ClosetMaid shelving unit. The drawer was well packed with foam separators in a sturdy cardboard box. All the pieces were in good condition when unpacked. Assembly is well-documented in the included instruction sheets and very easy, It took me less than 10 minutes to completely assemble the drawer. The problem occurred at the next step when I went to install the drawer glides in my existing 24 inch wide shelf unit. Since this drawer is only 23.46 inches wide and 23.75 inches wide with the drawer glides attached, it was a quarter inch too narrow to fit my shelf unit. That was easily solved with two 1/8 inch thick paint stirring sticks (free from Home Depot when we bought paint) that I used to shim the outside edges of the drawer glides when installing the drawer into the cabinet. I also had to drill a new 3/16 inch diameter mounting hole in my cabinet at the back end of the drawer glide because the existing holes in my cabinet didn't match up to any of the back holes in the glides. (see photos) Other than that glitch, for which I deducted one star in my rating, installation was easy and I am quite happy to have an additional drawer in my shelf unit.

This is one sturdy and durable drawer! Sure it is made of press board, but it is the thickest and strongest I have seen in years! Granted I am no novice putting together dressers and drawers, but this one is so very simple I did not need to look at the instructions. Minimal pieces yet, designed to be strong. Excellent. Took me all of 10 minutes to put together.

Creates an elegant style and easy to put together. Comes with nice rails and the instructions are adequate, with nice blown-up pictures for some of the details. If you have ever put together furniture, this will be about the same. It took me about 20 minutes to get everything put together. The bright white color is easy to get dirty but doesn't scratch easily. Cleaning was a matter of cloth clean-up. Easy to open, has something that slows the drawer down on closing but it is not a soft close or self close drawer. I ended up putting small little bumpers on it to make sure it didn't smack shut and that helps leave an air gap. Sturdy drawer. Easily handles whatever I throw or push into it. And looks nice to boot.

The ClosetMaid Selectives 9.92 in. high x 23.46 in. wide laminate closet drawer is an inexpensive drawer to add to your closet. It is easy to put together and install. I will install mine in a small closet that I can make fit with out too much trouble. This drawer comes with ball-bearing glides for smooth operation. I like the satin nickel knobs and the white laminate finish.

Piece of junk. Poorly made

Bought 4 drawers that were identical in exterior packaging. However there were 2 very different colors of white across the 4 drawers resulting in multiple returns and exchanges before finally getting 4 of the same color. Seems they were produced by two different factories, because hardware different slightly between drawers also. Huge time sink, waste of money and very frustrating.

A rating of OK is probably fair. I know it’s particle board but the air pockets are extreme! Just to text a damaged piece - that’s an another story - I drizzled wood glue on an unfinished end. The board kept soaking it up. Watch out ordering online. Items sent are typically recycled kits from the store missing parts, etc. next time I’ll just rip a 4x8.

The drawers were easy to assemble and worked great!

Not worth time or money I would have returned it but once I did the install too many of the items were no longer available. This item is very cheaply made. Not sturdy in the least. My fault as I wanted a cost effective product. In the long run this will cost me more. Lesson learned. You’ve been warned.

Directions were very easy to understand, putting the drawers together was also very easy with everything lining up perfectly. Once installed, which my husband and I was able to do together in less than 2 hours (no arguments) :), everything was perfect and sturdy. The drawers work well and glide open and close easily with a slowing motion also.

Awesome and easy to put together

MY WIFE JUST LOVES THE NEW CLOSET UNIT.

Boxes were previously sold taped up and put back on the Shelf with missing parts and damaged components. Still working to get the missing parts from ClosetMaid.

Easy to assemble and very durable

Had to return items, closet maid towers are not interchangeable with closet maid drawers and accessories. Can’t mix and match
