What can I say, it’s a electric metal box.

I use this box for all my exterior circuit runs. It works just as it should and am able to connect my flex conduit runs right to it.

Great quality weatherproof box. Comes with everything you need.

1. Must have existing "box and outlet." Seems I have bought a similar and large enough to sit flush, allow wire in and then mount outlet to box, but this isn't that. A cover only. 2. Instructions say, back screws holding outlet in but do not remove. I did try this method but had to keep backing out screws to the point they were almost out of the outlet and box. Doing this, it is tricky to get proper outlet cover in place as has to be under screws and snap in at top and bottom. 3. The last of 4, I installed, I removed the screws, snapped in the correct outlet cover and then replaced outlet screws. Plenty of room behind cover to see and align outlet screws. Oh, I did have to change cover opening pins for my outlet orientation. Note that all pins for hinges are not the same, so keep everything you do not use if you ever have to swap out regular for GFCI or need to open cover in differnt way.

I ordered this to hold a replacement heavy duty table saw switch. I needed up returning it to a local HD and getting an extra deep outdoor box made by the same company. Make sure this box is deep enough for your application. The original one was not for me. I couldn’t get the large switch body AND the 110 wires with crimp splices into it. I like this maker’s style box though because the switch mounting plates are attached with screws and can be removed which I needed to do on a grinding wheel to cut away material to accommodate my switch body. Other boxes have the mounting plates permanently pinned to the box.
