Good stainless steel blade scissors for trimming cables and stripping insulation. Cuts electrical communication 19 AWG and 23 AWG wire. The serrated blades make for easy cuts. The 24/22 wire strippers are built into blade striping wires and cables cleanly The ergonomic design with anti-slip grip handles makes the scissors comfortable for any size hand to use and operate smoothly.

This is my first pair of datacomm snips. In the past I have used several dedicated tools to do the same job. But I can do them with this snips - it just takes a bit more skill. The snips are sharp, and do a great job of cutting. As long as you are careful, then will strip the jacket off of CAT5 cable. The notches on the one blade surprised me in that they will strip the wires. I didn't think they would.
The only complaint I have with the snips is that the finger holes are too small for my fingers to fit comfortably. They need to be a bit bigger for my fat finger and thumb. On the other hand, they work as well in the left hand as the right one. This is not always the case.

These kind of snips are in a special corner of the scissors family. They are a working tool, not for hobbies or paper dolls, although they would do that job very well. This type of snips are designed to do a specific job that isn't always easy and can make it easier.
So how about these "Datacomm" snips perform? They have nicely coated handles for a comfortable (?) grip. They have relatively short blades and are partialy serrated. These blades are great for heavy cuts, such as tough plastic packaging and leather.
The handles aren't particularly comfortable, maybe the shape of my old hands.
Basically great shop snips for most jobs including thin shim stock but not heavier sheet metal.

Fairly comfortable for extended use and the extended handle makes use easier. I spent a couple of hours rewiring the remote control panels on our spray rigs at work and had to trim and strip quite a few wires for each control panel. I found the stripping notch at the top useful since I didn't have to set these down and pick up a stripper over and over. It seems like not a big deal but after the 50th time you do it having one tool that can do both is nice. The only thing I am not sure about is the pivot screw, there is a bit of slop at full open and I worry that more slack may develop with use.

These compact snips are well-designed for work with data cables and being made from stainless steel having a fine serrated edge on the cutting portion, they make a nice clean square cut of those small wires.
They also feature handy wire stripper grooves on one edge of a blade that makes stripping the connecting ends of the wires easier as the tool is already in your hands.
My only reason for downgrading these snips from a 5 to a 3 is that they would be a lot more comfortable if the thumb and finger loops of the scissors had molded grips like those on Fiskar and similarly styled/designed scissors/snips.
People might find it easier to use these snips if they place the green molded loop in the palm of their hand and used a middle finger through the other loop. It's a more casual and relaxed grip and it's still maneuverable that way.

This stainless-steel snip, is an exception tool,It has serrated teeth to allow for non slipping when in use.I find the ergonomic molded handle allows for longer usage without cramping, or fatigue. The grip on the handles allow more safety during use.it sharp enough to cut clean through cable I like the design of this tool, it fits my hand comfortably, great tool!!!!!!
This hand tool is well made, has super sharp pointed blades and is compact, making it useful for working in tight areas. Cuts ribbon cable conductors apart cleanly for me, and then strips the insulation away by using the notches on the backside of one blade. The micro-serrated edge on one blade makes all the difference by holding the small gauge wire or cable securely when cutting. I've even used it to trim thin gauge brass and aluminum shim stock. This tool also worked great for snipping through multiple layers of Cambric and electrical tape too; even cuts nylon pulling line cleanly. The only improvement that I would suggest is that they were spring loaded and/or that the finger loops should be made larger. The workaround for me is to put either my index or middle finger through one loop and rest the green, elongated side (loop) in the palm of my hand, using my thumb to hold it in place; makes stripping insulation off easier too.
These snips are junk. Won't cut anything. I am returning them and buying the Klein tool.

The scissors where damaged by cutting a plastic water tube. Plastic damaged the metal scissors part which in turn locked the scissors up. I didn’t even use them for copper yet. Very cheap metal.Professionals do not use.
