Purchased a couple days ago from the local HD, and installed it on 9/11/2024. 1st impressions was light was very well packaged with factory seals to ensure it hadn't been opened. Light frame was nice metal and rigid, with a semi-frosted diffuser lens cover, and the led strips on both sides of the light. Knockouts allowed for ceiling j-box or drywall screw install, and the electrical wire hole was exactly 7/8". I installed to the j-box easily, tightened, then wired the electrical. Now the supplied quick connects "do work" but need some force to seat them into the connector, ensuring you have no exposed wire, so fully seat, and I did use electrical tape and many reviewers of that quick connect method. Wirenut the ground. To install the lens cover is a tight fit, but once in it will just slide into place, then slowly close the end with the spring opening. You can minimally see the light wire. Light is a crisp bright white, but a little different than a LED bright white can or bulb ambience. We used in our laundry room to replace a 4 foot old tube light kit where the ballast had failed. I aim to also use this light in our closets to replace old tube style lighting. Recommend!

Nowhere in the instructions for this prismatic LED wraparound light does it tell you The voltage. I have to assume it's 120 and I see here on the website it does show 120 but on the box it shows absolutely zero It also comes with these stupid connectors which nobody here in California is using these connectors in your house so you have to end up cutting the wire and running a new wire to the internal of the light

Great simple LED light as a replacement for a billiard table light.

The light is brilliant and is a good value considering the price. Be cautious of the sharp edges of the metal when handling. Also, save yourself some frustration and throw away the cheap plastic anchors that kept deforming when I tried to hammer them into even a 3/16" hole which was bigger than the 1/8" hole the instructions called for. I used my own plastic anchors for a 3/16" hole and they went into the drywall with no bending over like the supplied cheap plastic anchors.

Required constructing temporary scaffolding and 2 people to install. Hopefully it will never need replacing. Gives out more light than replaced twin bulb 40w fluorescent fixture at half the power consumption.

Easy to install. Installed in kitchen over sink area. Light is nice and bright. Good value.

This fixture gives a surprising amount of quality soft light that fills my workshop. The wrap-around design is perfect to spread an even light to all work areas. Very easy to install and seems of very high quality.

These lights are perfect for a kitchen. I installed mine and it lights the kitchen so we'll, that you don't even have to turn on any other lighting in the kitchen. Plus it installs in less than 5 minutes. A bargain grab.

Good 4ft ceiling light. Spring loaded end cap makes lens removal easy for installation. For my purposes, GREAT for over workbench lighting. Direct wiring, no pull chain. Will be getting a few more for other basement areas.

I bought this LED lights for my Laundry room.This light is good for small spaces and bright enough and less energy.

Purchased for my father's Christmas gift, as their builder put one tiny light in their garage. I compared the Commercial Electric light to the one that my builder installed in my garage and it was very similar, without the high price tag. My father's very happy with his new light, as it brightened their 2-car garage immediately. He can finally see what he's working on without help from spot lights or flashlights. Would definitely buy this again!

Replaced flourescent lights with 2 two foot led lights. So much brighter and look very clean.

This light is super bright in my wife's closet and real simple to install. I will be buying more to replace my other fluorescent light fixtures.

These lights are much better than the old fluorescent ballast lights. Much brighter, no humming and no worry about bulb replacement. . Expected lifespan of 45 years, so a great price for the duration. Should be the last ceiling lights we’ll ever need. With the recommended tools and a friend, fairly simple installation.

The light is bright and fu ctions as intended. However, I can see the electric wires through the prismatic lens-very unattractive. I wish I had bought one with a covering over the wire area lime most florescent fixtures have.

Great product for the money, it emits great coverage of light for the work area. Installs very easy. The only drawback is, unlike normal fixtures, there isn't a cover for the driver/ wire area. The wrap around lens is the only cover. Not a big deal thou and I would purchase this light again!

Easy insuctions, easy installation, works really well

Excellent alternative for the common florescent tube lighting fixtures! Light weight, easy installation, no heavy ballasts, comparable lumens output, no light tubes to change, and very economical. Working well after about 1 month in service and exceeds my expectations. If the product lasts for years I will maintain my excellent rating.

This replaced a 2-Light T12 florescent fixture in our closet. Installation was very easy. These LED fixtures are much lighter in weight than florescent ballasted fixtures, so it was much easier to work with. Took all of 10-15 minutes to replace. Hard wiring was 3 wires (black/white/green) just like previous fixture. I used the included 4 plastic anchors to mount, no need for toggle bolts since this fixture is light weight, also was able to hold the fixture up with one hand to mark the holes, no problem, and I am close to 60. The Diffuser Lens (Wraparound) is also easy to install, one end of the fixture is hinged with a spring so the Lens fits on the inside of the fixture instead of hanging on the outside like most florescent's do. My wife said the color and brightness is perfect for Her/OUR :) closet. I wanted to see if these would work in MY :) garage, but I think I need a little more light (around 5000-Lumens) and maybe go with a lighter/brighter color (5000k). The Diffuser Lens will be a must since LED strips direct the light straight down and do not spread the light out like florescent tube lighting. The instant On is great with these LED lights...no more waiting for florescent lighting and no more hum.

Replaced a 48" fluorescent with a bad ballast with this product. Easy to install, brighter, cheaper, and more efficient than the fluorescent it replaced, and no pesky bulbs! Winning!

Was looking for the regular t8 fixture come to find out it's discontinued right after I remodeled our whole building now I can't match when they go out I have to spend $10 more per fixture and we have at least 50 so not happy about this

I installed 6 of these in my 2 car garage. They are extremely bright and 6 may be a bit overkill, but I do a lot of work in the garage and the extra brightness is helpful. I mounted them to junction boxes, but had to turn the boxes at an angle to keep the lights going straight across the ceiling.

I replaced a 2 bulb / 40 watt fluorescent light fixture in my closet with this. I was unfamiliar with this technology and opened the box expecting to find led tubes, I was surprised at the flat led strips. I must say - it works great!!! The fixture is a lot lighter and the mounting anchors and screws provided worked well. The light is a little brighter than the old 'cool white" tubes. I am very satisfied with the price and quality of this product and will use the same fixtures to replace my other 2 closet lights.

Great product for the price. Installed in laundry area and light is brighter than the old fluorescent fixture we replaced. Only unknown is whether it will last as long as advertised since there are no replaceable parts.

Great light output, easy to install, light weight, and no bulbs to deal with - can't ask for more. The supplied wire connectors were too small for the house wiring so cut them off and used wire nuts, no problem.

Light, bright, and a delight to install. I used to be in the trade, and this was the first time I ever enjoyed hanging fixtures. However, I do not like and did not use the plug-in connections. Old school personal preference.

Good light for the money. I would have liked to mount it to the junction box but was unable to do so since the box only had mounting provisions in a direction perpendicular to the light. I therefore had to mount the light to the wall board. Would be nice if the light manufacturer could add a pair of mounting holes perpendicular to the existing ones.

I had trouble with wiring it, everytime I installed the white and black wire to the clip, you have to inser the white wire and black wire into a clip that joins with the other side, it kept popping my breaker, I had to put both white bare wires together and both black bare wire together and install wire caps over the bare wires and the popping of the breaker stopped, I feel that anyone who really doesn't understand basic wiring of ceiling fans or other household electrical ceiling fixtures should not buy this.
