[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have straight, thin, and fine hair, so using a curling wand can be sometimes challenging (fear of extreme damage, hair can slip out of the clip). However, I find the silicone clip on this iron really helps to keep my hair in place! It is definitely secure in there when clip in my hair to curl. The wand itself is easy to turn on and off and the dial is easy to use. One con/place for improvement is the barrel length. I find it to be a bit short for my mid to long length hair (couple inches past the shoulder). I wish the barrel length was a bit longer so that it can curl more or longer pieces of hair at a time. In terms of damage and staying power, my curls stay in my hair fine and it makes me feel better that I am using a lower temp (though I think all heat styling will cause some amount of damage). Overall, I've been enjoying using my curling iron.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Conair ohSoKind curling iron. I was so happy when I found out Conair made a curling iron just for fine hair! Although I don't use a curling iron all the time, when I do my hair usual gets damaged by the high heat. This curling iron has a dial to control how high the heat goes but my other ones do not. I thought that was so great. Now i don't have to worry about damaging my hair. I also liked the silicone clip. This was much better than just metal. It's gentle and it didn't pull my hair. I thought the quality was great. I really enjoy using Conair products so I knew I would love this one too. This was also very easy to use and my hair had beautiful curls after using. Overall I loved it and recommend.

Using this one it was really easy to actually achieve the bouncy curls I really actually wanted and they held pretty decent very easy to use and very versatile absolutely love this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fine to normal natural red hair. I am always looking for the latest products promising to add volume to my hair. The indicator light for hair type is a plus. Unfortunately my hair would stick to the silicone around the wand. The silicone did not let my hair glide effortlessly off the rod. By the time I would have my hair free of the rod, the curl was lost. The box states not having to go over same section more than once. In my experience I went over same sections two to three times. The finish was very smooth and shiny when finally complete. I will more than likely continue to use my curling wand to create the curls I desire, my hair sticking to the silicone is what made this product not so desirable.

The clamp to hold the hair is so gentle and i don't have to worry about it pulling or damaging my hair. The heat settings are wonderful for hair in the same condition as mine. I absolutely recommend this, especially to people with compromised hair.

I have been using Conair curling irons for years, since back when they took five minutes to heat up properly enough to curl your hair. When I got this, I was a little skeptical because of past irons (they worked, just took forever to get the job done), but this iron blew me away. First off, the colors is super cute and definitely a staple I want in my haircare collection. It is super quick to heat up and allows for easy settings. The curls (or waves) are super easy to make and it takes little to no time (10 seconds on freshly washed hair or so, mine is fine and super straight) to curl. For me, that's great. It's an adorable iron that gets the job done, not many can do that, and I think it's because of the material it's made out of, because it gets hot quick but doesn't burn your hair. I would love to have a collection of Conair's similar products, because this is going to be a new go-to for when I want quick and easy curls.

But my hair kept getting caught in the silicone clip on the curling iron and it did not get hot enough for my hair so my hair unfortunately never held a curl using this curling iron. It heats up quickly and the various different settings are a big plus. I especially love the silicon clip because it makes the curler even more comfortable to use.

I love the colors and the quick, adjustable heat settings. Because I only use heat on my hair every once in a blue moon, I would not purchase this product. I would recommend this product to those who do!

I didn't use this expecting to see amazing results but it actually curled my hair pretty well. My hair is pretty dry so I was expecting to see lots of frizz and dryness but this left my hair smooth and looking pretty nice. Is it the best curling iron I've ever used? No. But it does a pretty good job. It's comfortable to hold and easy to use and visually it's super cute! Not bad if you're looking for an inexpensive iron to get the job done and look nice too!

I like that this iron is for fine hair and is designed with that in mind. I think it is reasonably priced. I received this product for free for testing purposes.

My favorite thing about this iron is the silicone clip. It holds your hair in place, which is great for those of us with fine hair and fly-aways. Even better, it doesn't catch or pull your hair. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't use curling irons often, but I will say this one in particular was easy to use and very gentle on my hair (I have fine hair) I like the silicone because it doesn't leave a crease in my hair like others I have tried. This one is affordable, it works, I would say it's definitely not for someone with thicker hair though. I think I would like it better in a larger size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works. I like that the silicone clamp on this curling iron doesn't leave lines on the ends of my curls like metal clamps tend to do. However, I usually don't use the clamps on curling irons anyway. I typically just keep the clamp closed and use the curling iron like a wand by wrapping my hair both the barrel and closed clamp. I don't feel like the outside of the silicone gets as hot as the rest of the barrel, so this is not ideal if you're planning on using it like a wand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This curling iron had to be at full heat to work for me. You had to do small sections at a time. All curling irons have that issue for me! I have thick hair. You had to keep it in your hair for 2-3 minutes for the curl to stay. It was time consuming. If you have lots of time its a great product. My hair was frizzy and that didn't help the situation much. It is a good product, just wish they worked for thinker hair. I recommend this to woman with thin fine hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it! It makes perfect curls. I have always used a curling iron with a clmp and this was so much easier. The only thing I didn't like is that it doesn't get hotter. I prefer 400 degrees. Even still, it produces great curls.

I was hoping this curling iron would help given it's made for fine hair. It does okay, but not as well was I would've liked - definitely not all day. The silicone clip tends to catch on my hair a little bit but it does not leave lines which I can appreciate. The curling iron itself takes a little bit of a learning curve for sure. The temperature setting works well and is enough heat for my hair. I tried using this on myself and my sister and it is definitely easier to use on someone else's hair than my own. Overall, I think I would use my other curling iron over this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how silky and shiny it made my hair. I like how high and low the heat settings are. It did not hold my curl as long as I would have liked. I used it without hair spray and it lasted maybe 2 hours. I also used it with hair spray and it only lasted about 4 hours. My hair is also really long so the top of my hair never got a chance to be curled. Overall it's nice to use to just do my bottoms and my younger daughters hair when she gets a little bigger.

My hair actually stays in the curling iron and curls! So much better than a regular curling iron and a lot less burned fingers trying to keep my hair in place. Definitely a must for those with thin flat hair.

Also the grip helps to not pull your hair! I absolutely love that! You can adjust the heat setting! It has 375 degrees and the heat is gentle! The heat activated silicone adds shine to your hair! The silicone helps prevent dents or crimps as well! The counter rest keeps the hot iron off of surfaces! There is an auto shut off and had 5,heat settings! I never had a curling iron for fine hair, so this was amazing! It also is great in other textures however it made me feel great it is targeted toward my hair type! I am very happy with this product and so glad I got to test it for free! ( my opinions are my own honest thoughts!)

My hair didn't feel as though it wasn't getting heat damaged - my hair felt cool while curling. My hair usually holds curls without sprays or anything, but with this the curls fell after an hour. I have extremely thick hair.
