[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have weird hair- it's sometimes very curly and sometimes it's wavy with straight pieces. It is a fuzz pouf with humidity. That said, it has gone from thick and full to a fine and full texture as I am now in my late 30's. I also highlight it. With all this, it has never held a heat-styled curl in my life for some reason... until I received this lil wonder. I used this curling iron on second day washed hair that I had brushed after it was wavy the day before. It had some product from the previous day still in it too. I took the iron section by section through the fuzzy mess and ended with very pretty spirals (my hair is past my shoulders). Now the spirals lessened after I ran my fingers through it and after a few hours, they were gone but the style still looked awesome- I mean it looked like I blow dried it styled with perfect ends. I was super pleased with this iron after avoiding them for the past decade. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes and all opinions are my own.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm not super experienced with curling irons, but I really liked this one. I have loose curly/wavy mixed hair and I only wash it ~2-3 times a week. This tool is great to touch up the spots that lose shape after being slept on a couple times. Now my curls are tighter than this iron, but my curls also fall quite a bit after day 1, so it is kind of the perfect size for that. The different heat settings are really nice and the clip on the barrel not being metal is really nice too. Quality iron! would recommend!

I was going for the more messy curl look, which I feel suits my short hair at this time. I can only imagine how beautiful long locks would work with this curling iron. The silicone is so much easier on my hair. Unlike the traditional all metal ones that ripped my hair out. I started out with the second hottest temp but this puppy is strong so I ended up putting it down to the lowest setting. Which is awesome because I have fine thin hair. I've used Con air products in the past and I'm still happy with the new products they are producing. Can't wait to use it when my hair gets even longer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this curling iron, it's been years since I've used a curling iron with a clip, but I think I will stick with clipless. Let's start with the things I liked about the curling iron: I loved how innovative it was to have a silicone clip and that it's targeted for fine hair to help reduce heat damage. However, I found the clip to yank at my hair and the curls didn't hold as long as my clipless iron lasts. For reference, when I use my normal wand my hair will hold a curl/wave until I wash it out (3-4 days later) and by the end of the day when I used this iron, my hair was flat again. Overall, I don't think it would help minimize heat damage if I want my hair to be curled/waved for multiple days as I would have to recur every day.

It does curl but takes longer for me than expected and my hair is really thing so sometimes takes a little while to get that defined curl but is nice when it comes out. My hair is so thin though it tends to lose the curl.

Alright so let me just speak my honest opinion about this product, I'm absolutely amazed by it. I have very fine hair so when I use a curling iron my hair usually falls out once I start using it. I never curl my hair because of that, this one in particular I can actually use. It's not because how big the curling wand is but because of the clip itself, after you place your hair in it and clip it down it stays because it has a rubber/silicone heat resistant pad so my hair actually stays in it! I would definitely recommend this product to someone that has fine/thin hair. The heat or temperature on it is great too.

I have natural thin and brittle hair that comes to my mid-back. My daughter hair is natural curly and fine. It worked perfectly fine and it gripped the hair easy with no pulling or tugging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color and design of the curling iron. I checked the price compared to similar ones and they were all around the same price. I have fine hair that loses curl fast and had hoped this was the answer but I was wrong. The actual top of the iron is coated is this silicon material which grabs ahold of hair. Even with out any product on my hair, the curling iron grabs hold and doesn't let go. It was a challenge getting the thing to let go of my hair let alone produce a good curl. It pulled, and yanked hair out. I like to think of myself as a pro when it comes to styling my own hair. I curl my hair at least 4× a week to give it a little bit of volume/ bounce even if its only for a few hours. This was not the curling iron for me.

Very easy to use and gives you the perfect curl. If you are looking for a simple hair curler that doesn't break the bank, this is the perfect option for you. It doesn't have any complicated mechanics attached to it, you just pick how high you want the heat and flip on the switch. It makes curling my hair so easy. I can finish all my hair now in less than 30 min. I would highly recommend for any beginners out there starting to style their hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just looking at this, it looks quite elegant and feels nice, but when I looked up the price I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable it is! It did it's job well as a curling iron and had a nice affect, even at a low heat which is my preference. No need to splurge on curling irons that are hundreds of dollars with this. I would especially recommend it to a beginner or someone without a lot of money who doesn't style their hair frequently. It's super affordable and gets the job done, plus it looks cute too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to receive this curling iron because I have really long, fine here and it's been very hard for me to find a curling iron that is doesn't have an extremely high temperature range or does not tend to burn and damage my hair very easily. Also, I have found most others to be clunky, heavy, and hard to hold/use-which prevents me from using curling irons more often. Right out of the box I absolutely fell in love with the color choices that Conair has made for the OhSoKind line and loved the weight/shape of the tool, and I believe most would users agree with me on that because most of my friends who used my bathroom and saw it, mentioned it to me how cute they thought it was and matched my other things. The silicone handle is really comfortable and fits well in the hand, and the iron is light weight itself which is always great so your hand doesnt get tired while you're holding it up-making me more likely to use it more often. Since I've had the product, I've been using it a couple times a week as opposed to once a week with my other ones. I usually prefer a curling irons that don't have a clamp, but the silicone clamp on this one I found to be very useful and it didn't get in the way like I have found others to do before and I was actually able to use it to create some different looks. It was actually easier for me to use this iron than most others that I have tried before and I would plan on re-buying it but it seems to be a very sturdy quality so I think that it will last me a long time. The little added stand to it is a nice touch as well as the silicone cover. Overall I was able to get a variety of looks with this one tool and found it to be of really great quality especially for the retail value. it was pretty amazing and I also got my mom to try out who has short fine hair and she felt the same way as me about it and was really excited about the product and has looked into the other tools in the OhSoKind line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't usually curl my hair as it has a hard time holding a curl, but this curling iron was super easy and soft on my hair. The silicone is a nice touch as it makes it to where it doesn't damage my hair at all. I will be using this often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product. It is sleek looking and I was intrigued that it was made specifically for fine hair. My hair is difficult, at best, to curl. My hair tends to slip right out of the clip forcing me to use my curling irons as a wand (which result in burns). This clip held my hair firmly so I didn't need to wrap my hair around it. My curls lasted two full days because I was able to get such a good grip on my hair thanks to the silicone clip! My only complaint is that I wish the barrel was longer because my hair goes past my armpits. Overall, amazing quality and I loved that you could choose the exact temperature.

I was wondering if it would conduct heat well and it does. It does not damage and crimp hair which is my number one issue using traditional curling irons. I love how I can adjust the heat level precisely.

The fact that my semi-thin hair doesn't slip out is pretty outstanding and it's credited to the silicone grip on the clamp. I don't love the actual 'on' and temperature dial as it seems way too easy to either accidentally turn on or off. Plus it was pretty slow to heat. Overall, I think this is a great addition to my haircare arsenal!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The silicone clip made it much easier to grab hold of and curl my hair. It didn't pull or rip any amount of hair because it's made of silicone. I have fine hair that doesn't hold curls well but this curling iron helped out with that a lot.

It doesn't grab my hair and the silicone clamp keeps my hair secure at the same time, the ceramic roll helps my hair glide smoothly with no frizz. I love this curling iron!
