Just what I needed. A lightweight, easy to carry stool to reach the top shelf of my closet. Great for this purpose -probably not good for heavy duty jobs. I like it better than just a step because it has a bar to hang on to at the top which help prevent unbalanced falls.

I needed a 3 step in house step stool with stability this works great.

This ladder is great for house needs, basically for kitchen and closets or anything you need to.

I feel very secure on this step stool. It is a little heavier than I thought it would, but not heavy enough for me to stop using it. All in all, I am very happy with this step stool

I really like it. I was somewhat disappointed that the steps were plastic and not steel like I expected. But then, that's my fault for not reaading the description carefully. Overall, it holds my weight well. it is sturdy. The only flaw that I can see is that the grip on the bottom of the ladder could be more rubbery for more stability.

Good value, easy to store.

The best features are safety! The rear feet are quite wide and grab even a laminate floor firmly. The front are circular feet and have a minimal contact point which are more for stool balance than gripping. Both steps of the stool have an excellent diagonal grip. They also displace water nicely adding greater safety in some circumstances. The upper rail is nicely to give a person a good sense of feel, as to where you are and not to overstep. The step stool does fold nicely and easily and stands well balanced when folded. It stores conveniently in a closet or just up against a wall. It also hangs very nicely on larger pegs on pegboard without the fear of excessive weight. The steps are a bit more challenging to clean, but cleaning in line with the tread pattern does make it achievable. It is not as easy to clean as a smooth surface, but worth far more than effort with the added safety. The stool is very convenient. Keep in mind the load capacity of 200 pounds which includes any tools or materials you may have on you or moving while standing on the stool.

A little taller than most step stools. Nice for changing light bulbs, or cleaning ceiling fan. Sturdy, nice buy. It is special order, but worth the wait. (about a week)

Wonderful product

I've always appreciated Cosco products-- they're well-built, sturdy, and their ladders and stools are must-haves for chores around the house. I already have a Cosco one-step stool that I use for all sorts of tasks, and decided to get another one that gave me some added height for trim work along my ceiling. This Cosco model doesn't disappoint-- it's well built, very sturdy, lightweight for portability, and the large steps provide ample foot space & rock-solid support, due in large part to the beefy strut system in each step's undercarriage. And the plastic "boots" on the bottom prevent rocking on carpeting, important to any homeowner when tackling projects more than three feet off the floor. The only "drawback" to those "no-mar" plastic boots, however, is when you use the step stool on hard floor surfaces like hardwood, laminate, or ceramic tiles. Because those plastic boots lack "grip," there is a tendency for the step stool base to slide/slip on the hard surface, so you have to be very cautious when using this step stool on those surfaces. I would actually like to see Cosco use the soft rubber material they used on the grip for the boots as well-- that would get this step stool a perfect 5-star rating from me. All in all, a very nice product.

Great choice step stool. I needed a tall step stool because I have high kitchen cabinets. Also, I needed something that could be stored out of the way and this folds away easily. All the steps have a wide standing surface and the handle adds to the feeling of stability and balance. The rubber on the handles and steps helps prevent slipping and reassures my footing when standing on top.

I previously owned a two step folding ladder that would allow me to get to that top shelf in the kitchen, but never see into it, or reach up and paint the trim but never with control. Well this ladder/stool with the third large step allows for this and so much more. The stool is much heavier duty with flat bottoms on the legs making you feel like you're standing on a platform and not a scary stool. When folding out the upper handle reaches upwards to give you something to grab onto if you feel insecure or feel nervous. Each step has a good molded non-slip pattern to hold traction. This bright red color will stick out unlike my black one which was also foldable but was impossible to find when I had it tucked away in a crevice. When folded it's around 3 1/2" thick and can be put behind the door without interfering with it opening all the way. Now on the top step I can get to the back of any top shelf and from the second paint the high spots in the house while having a nice platform for my bucket or pan and a bar to lean on. Not only is this a great ladder for reaching the top shelf in our walk-in closets, it's also a good looking ladder. With purple being one of our favorite colors, this ladder even looks good when sitting in the closet. In the past, I have kept a single step stool in each closet for use when trying to reach high up items. This ladder is so much safer (especially for us in our 60's and 70's) as we now can stand on a step and have a handle to hold onto while reaching up high. My sister, who lives with us, loves it, too!

This step ladder is just what I need, it has wide hard rubber step threads and very wide for easy standing. It is light weight and easy to carry. I am a Home Inspector and needed a small step ladder to carry inside the home that wasn't to big or bulky to carry around.

It filled my expectations of being the right height I was needing to be able to reach items or be able to hang curtains, etc. I recommend this for people who aren't quit tall enough to reach that item that is just out of reach!

Lightweight but very sturdy with big stairs-great!
