Good light, easy install however some of them click when turned on I contacted them and they are supposed to b3 sending me replacements .. doesn’t cover the time/ labor costs on 10-12’ ceilings..

I bought this to replace the same item that FAILED AFTER 15 MONTHS. I only bought the same thing so it would match the rest of the lights in our kitchen. When we moved to this house almost 3 years ago, I replaced 7 recessed lights with these units, and this is the 3rd one that's failed.

The Cree are the only flicker free downlights at the Home Depot. I tested all the lights at my local Home Depot and these downlights were flicker free. So if your are buying at The Home Depot and are sensitive to flickering light, then these are for you. I also tested other types of Cree bulbs. Strangely, the non-downlight Cree bulbs flicker. I have had 45 of these installed for six months and they all still function. Some make a small cracking noise while turning on or off, but it is not bothersome to me.

Makes it easy to replace an old incandescent fixture.

2 to 3 stars doesn’t stay up flush. It needs a spring to pull it taut. The 3 pieces that rotate out do NOT hold the new light in place- I had to buy springs to provide pull against gravity to keep it flush

Return the product. 1. To recessed for the standard high hat. 2. Transformer on plug in to large for the standard high hat. Had to return and settle for 65 W with little LED recess.

This retrofit LED is as good as advertised. I get the same amount of illumination as the halogen it replaced but with less heat.

Very bright, so be sure it is what you need. Very good color. Easy to install. I wanted something to illuminate a closet next to the recessed light and it works well for me, much better than what I had.

Replaced a phillips LED with this one, and couldn't be happier. this light is very bright and was simple to install. will buy again, definitely.

Easy to install and the lighting is very pleasant.

Easy to install and emits bright but not harsh light. The only complication resulted from an important omission in the printed installation instructions. To get the light fixture to "grip" the inside of the ceiling can, you have to push-rotate the metal tabs on the sides of the light clockwise to make them stick out. I found that missing step when I watched the installation video, but it was not in the instruction sheet.

Pleasant light (soft and even distribution). Does make a slight hum if you are up next to the light.

Excellent LED recessed light. Install took about 10 seconds. Color says "soft", but it's actually 2700k I believe which is warm.
