Attached strongly but easy to get hard

Easy to use and easy to clean! It also dries quickly!

The thin set seemed to be old and clumpy and there were hard lumps in it and was difficult to use, got rid about a third of it.

Perfect consistency every time

Am doing 1700 sq/ft of tiling. Used this product because mixing mortar is a hassle and thought the cost was worth it. I am half way through the project and the last 2 buckets were so thick it was returned. The next 2 buckets the same. Went to a different Home Depot thinking the batch may be different. Those 2 buckets had chunks of harden mortar that had to be picked out. Made buttering 3 times longer. I will be using a different product now. Don't have the time to see if next buckets are any better.

Good product for a reason price. My go to mortar as I hate to mix the powder stuff.

This product is easy to use and is very convenient. The particular job this was used for required me to do it in stages which meant that it was ready when I needed it and for the amount needed at that moment. There was no mixing, mess or need to for water and mixing equipment, just open the container and use. After setting, it is comparable to hand mixed mortar.

This is more expensive than the bags, but much less of a mess. Product can be resealed and didn't dry out.

Great product that got the job done.

This product works great, and was easy to use.

The product saved time

Aweful!! Never dried!! The PDF help file should be included on the HomeDepot website as it states this product cannot be used in many places (read the pdf it is funny). And you CANNOT use it with a membrane. I installed -- waited 4 weeks and it never dried. I had to remove all tiles (and membrane) and start all over. I am not sure who this is useful for -- but I suggest STAY AWAY!! And it smells like petrol -- huge headache from smell alone!!

Convenient you dont have to mix, but be prepared to wait 10 days for it to dry. Messed up a few tiles thinking i could walk on it 72 hours after the fact. Better off getting the real stuff and mixing it.

This thinset is too dry. Does not stick to the backer board well. Scraped it off after I had half of it down. Will not get a refund as it is open now. Wasted $50.... Never again

Great product to use but inside the product has a lot of thin set chunks and makes the job longer by removing the big chunks from the product

I know mortar is supposed to be thick, however, this product does not play well with the trowel. It seems to be too thick to create a nice even bed on the back of the tile (I prefer to back butter install of spreading the mortar on the wall for backsplashes and tub surrounds). You have to be very careful to get an even spread on the tile so that you don't have tiles "standing away" from the wall, or having corners that sink in. I know there are tools to manage this, but most of the problem could be solved with a smoother product.

Non-premix seems to work better
