I am SO HAPPY with this!I've recently done 3 tile projects for the first time & I ordered this. It was SO EASY TO USE! I followed directions using on cured grout, apply once, reapply! I applied generously;there is still most of it left!I did 2 countertops & a fireplace hearth, couldn't have been simpler& I didn't even have to leave the house!HD shipped free everything from mastik, grout, float, and sealer! Pretty 😎 COOL! I think I did a great job!👏😸

Less of a mess then the spray happy with the product because I only want the grout line sealed not the whole tile which ends up happening with the spray it’s time consuming to have to keep whipping the spray off the tile

Very Disappointing
This product does not seal the grout. We have new porcelain tile floor and premium grout which is prudent to seal especially in the kitchen.
Purchased the 24 Oz. and the 6 Oz. container with the brush applicator. Applied the "sealer" to clean dry grout and waited a day until it was thoroughly dry. Tested the seal using a few drops of water and the grout immediately soaked the water. Applied the sealer two more times over a week's time, letting it thoroughly dry and still it did not seal the grout. This water-based sealer is almost the consistency of water, drys clear but did not seal the grout. See attached pictures. Not only a waste of money but some five hours of labor to move furniture, clean the floor, and apply the sealer three times. I do not recommend this product.

The brush is hard to use on small horizontal grout joints, I gave up and used a foam paint brush. But after 2 days of curing, I think it will help keep the shower tile clean.

It brightened my grout to almost white!
Bought this as I had used it before. It basically looks like I bleached my grout. I’m hoping after time it will darken a bit. I had tested it in a closet and it appeared to be fine, but after a day or so, it’s definitely brighter. Also a few reviews said they couldn’t get it out, there is a clear stop plug you have to carefully pull out. Didn’t have issues with it getting on tile or coming out clumpy.

DO NOT BUY!
I should have read reviews on this before buying it. I figured it would be an easy way to seal my new subway tile backsplash because of the brush! WRONG! Not only was it harder and tedious, it ruined my beautiful oyster gray grout. It made some areas darker, some lighter and left a nasty, impossible to remove white blotchy residue. So upset about this! Ruined my $500 backsplash with a $6 terrible product! Use something else, anything else! Try the spray bottle. It would be so much easier and less time consuming that the brush bottle.

Not clear how to get it to come out of squeeze bottle
Either I got a defective or tampered with bottle, or this is not clear how to get anything to come out....nothing comes out. I was told to cut the tip off, but the tip is a brush! I was told to remove a red spill proof plug, but there really isn't one other than the red part fo the tip on the inside which does not come out easily! I forced it out anyway with an easy-out (silly, eh!) but that can't be right.
You'd think there would be some instruction or it should be obvious, or I got a defective bottle. Either way, can't say I'm happy with it. I entered a photo

Use on Floors, not Walls
I purchased this to seal the grout in my bathroom shower. First, note that it really cannot be applied on walls as it is too thin and runny. I worked in small sections, marking the area with painters tape. It took about 1 hour, 15 minutes for each section. I followed the directions - I applied the first coat and waited 5 minutes and then wiped off the excess (using a microfiber cloth). Then I let the area dry for another 30 minutes before applying the second coat - which was done the same way.
There is no way to keep the sealant on the grout only. In the photo you can see that the brush spreads apart as you go along. Also, if your floor is sloped, it will run. It will spread onto your stone, so ahead of time you may want to test not only your grout, but your stone.
It's not difficult to apply, but it is tedious. I'm not sure whether it's related, but both days that I worked with this product I developed minor headaches. I didn't notice an odor.
Obviously I have to wait and see how well it works. I will try to post an update in a few months and let you know.

very happy
Time will tell, but so far I love the grout sealer. I used this on grout that has been here 12 years. I had to clean it first. Some people complained about it darkening the grout. That did not happen to me.

Grout lines sealed with this still darken when wet so I am not sure how well it is working but I followed the directions. I used this to seal 15 sqft of 2" mosaic tile on the shower floor as well as the 5' long curb. I used only half the bottle so I have more left for a re-coat down the road. The brush lets out alot at first then you have to squeeze it for more. The brushes perfect for 1/4" grout lines and spills over a bit on 1/8" grout lines. After I let it sit for several minutes, I just wiped with a microfiber cloth. No residue on the tile. It also doesn't smell. Of note, this applicator does not work well on vertical (wall) grout lines, only the floor. The sealers drips and runs a lot if you use it on the wall.

Worked great and was very easy to apply. Next time I will ask the time guy to add the sealant in with the grout which I was unaware of. For the price I paid I can't complain.

Recently used this when doing a small bathroom tile job. The price was good compared to a whole jug and the applicator tip made it easy to use. The only downside was that when the bottle got low the sealer did not flow consistently.

I just finished a Kitchen Back splash with a 4" strip of assorted glass tile mosaic, including handmade tiles of varying thicknesses and anywhere from 1" to 4" long. Thus, the grout is not always at the same depth. My back splash is about 32 ln ft. with 3 rows of large subway tile (also from Home Depot) and this 4" strip inserted 8" up from the counter. So there was a lot of detail work sealing all the grout. Total time for me to put 2 coats on was about 2 hours. It used up probably 90% of the bottle. There were a few issues using this product:
- First off the wall is obviously vertical and this product would work better on a horizontal surface. It's very runny and the design makes it difficult to get the sealer up under the cabinet and seal the higher grout. It's doable but awkward.
- Secondly, even though it has a little brush, the sealer would run off the brush at different locations (not always at the end of the brush), so you couldn't always get it right where you wanted. And because of the irregular grout pattern, I basically butchered the brush by the end of the job.
- Thirdly, because its clear and I was using it on white tile with bright white grout, under cabinets blocking the light, it was difficult to tell if the sealer was actually getting on the grout or just running down the face of the tile. I solved this by using my little flashlight when I applied the second coat, shining it at an angle across the tile so I could tell what was wet.
Sooo, I don't know what other options are out there and if I had it to do over again I would see if there are other options but wouldn't be too worried about having to use this again. 2 hours wasn't too bad for 2 coats and if it keeps the grout from staining I'll be happy!

This sealer was very easy to use with the built in applicator....just brush it on. The sealing job went way faster than I expected, and it looks great.

Very good product but then I have solid white tiles in a new nenovated bathroom
I hesitatingly purchased this product having read all the reviews but decided to take the chance as I had solid white subway tiles in my newly renovated bathroom. All the reviews and pictures showed white discoloration and staining on dark covered surfaces. I tested on a patch of grout near the floor and as luck would have it I had difficulty determining where I applied this sealer after having it dry for a day. Saw what I liked then "went to town" on a leisurely Saturday afternoon using the built in brush to sparingly apply over each grout line. Applied second coat 3 hours later then allowed funky smelling family members to use our renovated bathroom. It's now on week 3 and it's holding up remarkably well requiring only use of a squeegee after each shower to remove excess water off wall tiles and glass doors. Would I use it again?...yes, however if this product says what it does I suspect I will NOT have to re-apply grouter sealer for at least 6 months or more

Do not use! Reviews are spot on
I was in the store and bought this before reading any reviews. When it left a white mess in all of my brand new tile joints I looked it up on the website. The other reviews are spot on! This is a terrible product and unless you want additional work do not use it because I will be spending my Sunday attempting to fix this mess.

My big regret
I am so upset. I just spent thousands (and thousands) of dollars redoing my entire kitchen. I bought this to seal the grout on the back splash. Unfortunately, it dripped onto my brand new concrete counter top and left a white residue. I looked online and saw that people used a sulfamic acid cleaner to remove this residue. It did NOT work for me. I cannot get this residue off.
My entire kitchen remodel is basically ruined. I cannot just replace these counter tops because they were poured in place and there is no way to get them off. I am devastated about this purchase. I'll try to post pictures. DO NOT BUY.
Out of all the things I purchased for this kitchen who'd have thought that a $6.00 purchase would be my greatest regret. I really wish I could go back in time and not buy this. I can't express enough how it has ruined my beautiful counter tops.

Use Caution
I used this on my Charcoal colored grout and it left a white residue on the grout that I cannot remove. I read that a previous purchaser had the same issue so I am going to try his method of removing the white residue and hope that works. Just spent a ton of money on new floors and I am terrified that I just ruined them.
