Less expensive than the newer lion cordless drills, it is possible to fly with this drill in your baggage, at least on United. I needed it for our place in Belize. Alas, the original order got hung up in the floods in CA and arrived 10 days too late to go with me-- I fly to Cancun, then take the bus to Belize-- so I stopped in the new Home Depot in Playa Del Carmen and bought another identical drill there. So, one of them made it to where I needed it. C

Very happy with the Drill Driver it has the same batteries that my other Drill Driver and Impact driver has

compact easier to handle than my old 18 volt. Batteries still heavier than some other 18volt but fit all my old Dewalt tools. Great bargain price.

I bought this drill because it was identical to the drill I've had for more than a decade. I used that drill almost everyday without a hitch, driving 3" decking screws to drilling holes with 1/2" auger bits. Eventually it wore out. I saw this one and thought it would be a perfect replacement. My Local Home Depot did not carry this model in their store so I ordered it online. I received it quickly and naturally charged the batteries. I was building a porch swing at the time. I put a 3/8" drill bit in, pulled the trigger and noticed that bit was wobbling and the drill was vibrating terribly. The shaft was apparently off center. Needless to say, the drill is basically useless to me. I immediately returned it to my local Home Depot, for a refund. I have bought many DeWalt tools over the years and have been thoroughly pleased. I must say this was very disappointing. I have since then replaced that drill with a Milwaukee.

DEWALT products never fail to be a hard working product to any job I an working on. It is no lightweight, but the smaller drills cannot out perform this drill in my opinion. It has been used through brick, a set of triple 2"X4"'s, and tiny holes to start a picture frame project.

i bought one of these and liked it so much i bought another one. i have three DeWALT drills now and i have been happy with them. Now when I'm making cabinet or draws i don't have too keep changing bits and drills for each step that i have to do. i like all the feature about them they make the work go faster and easy.

love this drill, however I would have enjoyed it more if it had come with a regular / philips drill bit that fits in the bracket on the front of drill r

Great product. The battery charges quickly and I get a lot of run time on each charge. Fairly rugged design. Fairly compact also. A big plus is the battery is interchangeable with the older batteries on my other Dewalt 18 volt tools.

Dewalt drill driver came with 2 batteries and carry bag. Love it it has quite a bit of power for an 18 volt. Waiting to see if it holds up under heavy use but I believe it will not give me any problems.

The 18 volt is powerful enough for any residential project. I received this at Christmas and waiting for the moment to use it.

The drill wouldn't even turn on when you charged battery and put the battery in and you can hear stuff moving around inside, so you sent us broken drill

Works great well worth the $89.00 bought a second one for my son. Not a contractor model but works great for guys like me that use it around the house. Much stronger than my old 18v ryobi.

This is a great product to have around the house. It is perfect for home use. Not commercial grade. The batteries are good for about 3 years. Great buy for Black Friday. I got one 3 years ago and bought this just to have a back up. It is cheaper than buying just the batteries.

Performs great and since they are closing out the 18v systems got it at a good price. Works for me.
