The scrugun is amazing.

Great drill

I have found the drill to be inconsistent. Works well sometimes. Other times I have had to drill a pilot hole to get the screws to sink into the drywall. The drill is also hard on the hand when used for a bigger project (right hand in my case).

Lightweight and plenty of power. Depth is easy to set and appears to hold its setting. This will get used a lot, but initially put up about 15 sheets of drywall and it worked perfectly. The light weight is most appreciated when reaching overhead to drive screws. Bought this to have a gun specifically for drywall (and such) to replace a similar DeWalt model that is 18 years old, primarily because I can't find a plastic depth nosecone for the old one. Still use the original one but just for general screw driving, so I'm confident this one will last as well.

I’ve struggled through drywall jobs with a regular drill driver many times. This time I decided to buy the proper tool for the job. Once depth was set I breezed through the job and didn’t overset any screws or have the bit come off the screw and drill a hole in the drywall. Dewalt = Quality.

This is the second screw gun I’ve purchased like this model. The first one broke too soon driving some bigger screws into wood. Stick to screws under 1-5/8” in length and you should be golden. I was really happy with the gun and you can get replacement parts. I will fix my other gun.

Returning it today. Not use to it. Ended up using a cordless.

Drill works well, case just gets extremely hot while in use

Worked great! I used it to drill in plywood sheathing and it was even able to countersink the plywood! Only wish a collated attachment was available.

If you are planning on installing a lot of drywall then this is worth the investment. Save yourself lots of time getting those screws in to correct depth the first time
