[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in auto extrication sales and we use this saw to help fire and rescue personnel do their job. I cut metal and plastic that cars are made of and this saw has no trouble! Having the dewalt battery platform has really helped us in the fire rescue business! I also work on a fire truck as a firefighter emt and we use this tool along with other flexvolt tools! If they hold up for us at Amkus and at the Fire Dept they will hold up anywhere!

Fresh out of the box it worked 1 out of 5 times . You have to unhook and re hook battery several times per use , not very effective for a tool I use the most!

This saw is by far my favorite tool. I've used gas chop saws my entire life. This is a game changer for sure.

Broke under a year told warranty voided because they couldn’t undo two screws because has concrete on them it a concrete saw what the f . It was a masonry saw never cut concrete also say we have to scrub them to look new after every use or void warranty’s what joke . So if you’re a trades man don’t touch this saw and it also took 11 months to get it back from delwalt .

One of the batteries doesn’t hold a charge. I brought it to Home Depot. They give me the run around.

Powerful saw. Cuts expansion joints quick and easy. No mixing fuel to worry about is awesome. Two batteries is good but i recommend having an extra fully charged on hand. The saw is strong but eats up batteries.

The saw is awesome. I don't know what else to say. Unless we talk about the aggressive blade that it comes with that cuts though every thing. Or the power that is maintained from the 60v battery. And the overheating light. To many thing's. Just awesome...

Better then expected

Purchased this saw to eliminate my gas partner saw. I never used my big gas saw that often, mainly because I didn’t keep it in my van to avoid gas and oil leaking. With this saw I find myself pulling it out all the time. Before I start layout and framing on a new poured foundation I go around with this and clean the tops of any ridges or rough spots. I pulled it out to test it on a cast iron tub removal from a clients house. This was more to see what the saw could do. Love it! Cut the tub up in no time, and without any vibrations from breaking it up with a sledge. Constantly finding tasks to use this saw on. Great buy! But it does burn through my 9 amp hour batteries rather fast.

These Saws (Chain saw & Cut off saw) were bought to compliment our Rescue and Rapid Entry teams. The light weight and power they afford have reduced the amount of time required to gain entry into doors and vent a roof by over 2/3s. No longer do we have to fight the heavy saws, worry about them starting in the cold, running in a IDLH atmosphere (gas saws do not run well in a Smokey atmosphere) and less chance of Injury, because they are light weight. Highly recommend Fire & Rescue Companies invest in these tools. You will not be disappointed. Chief

Works great but Home Depot needs to carry the 9 inch blades

This contractor saw is a beast. It does chew through batteries quite fast so invest in the 4 port dewalt charger and have a lot of batteries. I cut 800sqft 3.5" deep to break up with a skid steer and it worked flawlessly.

DeWalt tools are garbage I regret this purchase alot! Go Milwaukee, their batteries last longer than 2 months. They say it will cut 80 rebar on 1 charge, not even close we counted 26! DeWalt sucks.

Works awsome . Cut cylinder block, rebar , 1/4" steel . 1/2 steel . Long battery life with the 9.0 it's a game changer

Great Saw, cuts through 3 in house slab foundations but it eats batteries. I can only make a cut about 3-4 ft before the batteries are dead.
