I love the stands these attach to, but these brackets are not functional after minimal use. The safety release does not work anymore so I need to try to slide my fingers in between the small tab and the bracket to manually release them. It's a huge annoyance. And anyone else that uses my saw that is unfamiliar with the issues cant ever figure out how to please them.

Best price around on an extra set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the use of the stand but unhappy with the use of the mounting brackets as I have read in other comments gets stuck and then have a pull up and snapped the entire release handle right off. Like the stand but the brackets not to much.

Have 7 mitersaws all have mounting adapters. Like them. all

I came here looking for replacement parts since I currently have another two broken pairs of these. So far I’ve replaced these 4 times. Really wish if they weren’t going to fix the issue, they’d at least offer replacement parts. Looking at the reviews I see I’m not alone in my disappointment here.

Works great, I have them one two of my saws.

Whyyyyyy can’t just for once, they make the mechanism with the most movement (the release and lock levers) metal! Make them cheap metal, but please do NOT make them plastic! Arrrggg

It is part of the folding table, and I like it because it is very practical, light and has reduced space when folded; very solid when putting together and holding my saw.

Everything worked and fit as advertised.

In reading through these reviews, I see that roughly 77% of the total reviews are very negative, and most of these cite the plastic mounting clamp and how easily it breaks. And what's Dewalt's overall response? "This shouldn't be happening, please contact us directly". If this product is cheaply made crap, don't insult the folks who're telling you so, just make a better product!

Poorly made plastic parts on mitre saw mounting brackets, for a good stand, basically make the srand useless!

So why did you not post my review. I didn't use any profanity. I explained why I didn't like the miter stand. Better have a good reason, or I will post that review on every review site I can find.

Plastic releases have already failed! How is It you don’t offer parts??

This mounting brackets were extremely easy to replace the broken one. I wish instead of making the consumer purchase a pair of the brackets, there should be an option to purchase either one or the set. All I needed was to replace one bracket. However, it came as a pair that I paid for. Now I have to find a place to store the spare bracket and hope I don’t misplace it if I need to replace a broken bracket in the future. Products were shipped very fast. I believe it arrived before the estimated arrival date.

Every review I read mentions the plastic clips that hold the mounts on the stand rail. I completely agree. The stand is great and the design is very useful, but the clips are plastic, break easily because of the leverage they designed them to take when you squeeze them. That would t even bother me too much, if I could just go buy a package of these. The assembly comes off easily and it seems designed to be easily serviced, why no repair parts?!?!

Easy to install and makes moving slide saw on and off when setting up for a job. Dewalt Saw Stand also the bestir the same reasons.

I am contemplating buying a third set of these bracket (because they have broken again), but after reading the reviews for the mounting brackets, I think I may go a different direction. The stand is fine but the plastic brackets break easily. It is to bad the plastic parts are not available to purchase separately or a redesigned clip is not available. Unrelated to this issue, it's to bad Black and Decker completely gutted the Porter Cable line of tools. Management should rethink some of these decisions.
