I tested the DIABLO 1/2 in. x 4 in. x 6 in. SPEEDemon Red Granite Carbide Tipped Hammer Drill Bit against an other brand of carbide drill bit both drilling into a hard brick using a hammer drill. In included picture you can see the other brand did not get far into the brick even after many minuets of trying , the DIABLO 1/2 inch carbide drill bit quickly about one minuet got deep into the brick. After the drilling test the DIABLO's carbide tip showed no sign of damage or wear, this tells me it is a really tough drill bit.

It's Diablo, what else has to be said? Outstanding!

This 5/8" carbide bit is for a hammer drill but I used it in a regular drill and it still cut through concrete like butter. Drilled 1-1 1/2" deep and it turned the concrete into dust. Excellent buy

Just what I needed to drill a drainage hole in a flower pot.

Drilled two holes in modern brick (2024 home) and bit wore out. Will attempt to return, but not a great bit.

Drilled one 1" hole inti limestone rock and one 1" hole inti mortar to hang an object. Drill bit is now totally dull and useless.

Worked great on bathroom tile.

I bought this to drill holes on concrete to fasten my window well into it with concrete nails. The drill bit works efficiently.

Carbide tip broke off before the first hole was bored.

Good bit, worked fine on two 6" holes into brick. We'll see how long it lasts. Packaging is a nightmare - took me longer to extract the bit from its tightly-clinging plastic & paper mummy case than it did to drill the first hole.

It made concrete dust!
