Garage Door Weather Seal This seal replaces the rubber at the bottom of the garage door. It is good quality, and thicker than the worn out one I replaced on my door. The “T” on each edge of the seal slides into the two t-shaped tracks on the bottom of the garage door. Pretty easy to install, just bend and slide into tracks on the garage door. Perfect fit, and I am very happy with this replacement seal.

I've used these seals for Do-It-Yourself projects. The high quality rubber is easy to cut, will accept brads or glue for for adhesion, as well as normal insertion into a garage door T-channel. I put some sliding doors on an outdoor structure, and use these to cover the gaps around the doors. The work great for my purpose, keeping debris and blowing rain out.

This Dura-Lift 17 foot garage door double-T rubber weather seal is made of quality flexible rubber. I assumed all garage door seals were the same, but they are not. When I went to replace my seal with this product, I realized that the mounting was different. My original seal was a "P-Bulb" seal, so I had to replace the mounting bracket to a Double-T bracket. Not a major task. This seal looks great compared to the broken seal that was there.

I bought two of these, one for each door. The first one was an inch and a half too long (good), but the second was about 2.5 inches too short. I added the bit I trimmed from the first seal to the second but there its still not long enough. Other than that, it was easy to install and makes a nice seal when closed.

This seal is a good replacement for older garage doors that might have just the rubber flap for a seal. Installation is quick & easy. I do suggest doing it on a warmer day. If you don't have that option, it works just as well to warm the seal up inside next to a heater vent or in front of a portable heater. Because of expansion and contraction due to temperature, definitely follow the instructions & figure extra.

nice product. Fit easily into the channel and was just th right length. So much better than that cheesy strip that's stocked on top store shelf. I wish that they would offer this in the store instead of the "drill holes in the bottom" and attach with the supplied screws kit.

This is a sturdy and good quality rubber seal for garage door unders. It only covers half of a two car garage so got another one of the same kind. Works good, so far so good. Need to see how long it can handle the weight of the door and rains and winters. It wasn't too hard to install it either, just like any standard garage door seal. I did not see any instructions, but it was easy.

The DURA-LIFT rubber bottom seal has superior bounce back and flexibility especially compared to traditional seals that use PVC plastic (see my old seal weathered in the South Florida sun for 23 years in picture below). Ideal for up to a 17 ft. metal garage door with aluminum astragal retainers. Material cuts easily. I used a couple of drops of crazy glue at the ends to hold it in it's final position. Caution should be used as garage door springs and cables can be under great pressure and to the novice or unexperienced can be a danger! Door should be disconnected from the opening mechanism and unplugged from the opener as to not have any chance of an accident. A clamp or vice grips can hold the door slightly opened (done manually) and secured to aide in the installation (see photos). The manufacturer recommends that; "a trained systems technician is highly recommended to prevent serious injury or death". I actually had no issues with proper precautions carefully taken and followed the included directions exactly including cleaning of the existing trac. Start to finish was the job lasted under 30 minutes. With all the warnings for myself this was an easy installation. The manufacturer also states; This bottom seal can help keep your garage dry, comfortable and clean by preventing rain, wind, dust, leaves and pests from entering under the garage door. Ultimate bounce back and flexibility: 2X as thick (.08mm vs standard .04 mm) and made with 100% EPDM DURA-LIFT rubber, this high-quality, shock-absorbing seal holds its shape and structure 5x longer than other seals that use PVC plastic. Superior insulation and weather-proof ability; provides long-term insulation and protection from extreme weather elements such as wind, rain, snow, dust storms, and shifting temperatures so the inside of your garage stays dry, comfortable, and clean. Keeps unwanted critters out: fortify your garage against rodents, pests, snakes, spiders, and other unwelcome wildlife from entering under the garage door. Industry's best test ratings: DURA-LIFT approved temperature range -60°F to +290°F, tensile range: 1500 P.S.I., elongation: 550% maximum. Reduce energy costs year-round: helps maintain consistent temperature in the garage by preventing heat and cool air from entering and escaping under the garage door.

I recommend this bottom end garage door rubber weather seal if you have a garage door that has the same mounting. The information was not very clear and ended getting something different than my original door seal. I had to buy new ends to secure the rubber seal to my garage. Gave it 4 stars because it is not as universal as I expected. Otherwise, it does what is made for. Make sure your garage door is properly adjusted to seal the bottom of the garage to the floor.

My garage door seal was starting to allow rain water to seep into the garage. It had gotten hard in areas and was starting to crack. This new seal is made from a high-quality rubber with good flexibility (i.e. bounce back). There are plenty of YouTube videos to give you pointers on installation. You just want to be sure that this is the style (1/4 inch double T) seal needed for your garage door. It’s also much easier to install if you have someone that can help you feed it into the track while you pull it along.

I have two 9’ garage doors. But only one door had the two “T” slots across the bottom. Make sure that the door you are buying this for will accept this style (see my photo taken of the installation sheet included with product) this would not work on my 1st door because it did not have the double slots across the bottom. On my other door I found the Dura-Lift garage door weather seal easy to install with the straight forward instructions included. I used a little water mixed with dishwashing liquid to slide past a couple of tight spots. The hardest part is removing the old rubber and cleaning things up for the new one. When I finished I washed and rinsed the outside of the door and found no water had leaked into the garage floor.

The Dura-lift rubber bottom seal is twice as thick as the seal that came with my garage door. My door faces Southeast, which is the prevailing wind. Previously during a rain storm it blew the water right under the door. This is a stronger seal that prevents the rain from coming in or unwanted critters. Make sure you have a "T" track as there are other kinds before getting the seal. It was fairly easy to install. The "T" ends of the seal fit into the track on the door and slide across. Then you cut it to the correct length. I sprayed the track with lithium grease to make it slide but it improved the sliding only slightly. I removed the track from the door and then I could work the bottom seal into the track while sitting and right side up. This is a quick fix to driving rain coming under the door.

Not quite
The listing says doible T style. What came was correct product number but single T. Be aware.

    This was the worst purchase
This is a very expensive product that does not work. It comes off the track everyday. Complete junk.

The description and dimensions of the seal are accurate to make this a rather easy task, if you have two people working together. Quite happy with the results.

Quality rubber that holds it shape. Definitely a two person job to install for a double garage door and you need to lubricate door track. I used WD-40. Also needed to adjust down force on garage door opener which is easy to do.

Exactly what my garage door needed. Fairly easy to install, for such a long expanse as my door (16ft) would have helped to have a second pair of hands, but all in all easy enough.

Perfect fit in the old channels. Very flexible and easy to feed into the twin channels. Best and quicker if a two person job but I was successful on my own. Created a squishy seal on the bottom of the garage door as expected. I had 9 inches left extra to trim on the end. Perfect fit and worked perfectly.
