Our large washing machine suffered a circuit control board failure and the repair folks said we will have a 4 to 6 week wait for the part. Using a laundry mat where we are located was not an option. We found this little gem on the Home Depot web site and figured it would get us through in a pinch. We ordered it at noon Tuesday and it arrived at our door Thursday just after 2pm with free delivery. It was easy to hook up next to our out of service washer and within 20 minutes we had our first load in and washing. The first load held a dry loose fill consisting of 2 pair of jogging pants, a jogging top, 2 wash cloth along with socks and underwear. It is extremely quiet and spins at 200 rpm higher than our large washer. Three loads pretty well equaled one load from the large washer. Because it spins faster the cloths come out just slightly damp and the dryer load which usually takes 90 minutes on medium heat just took an hour. We have now caught up on our laundry after 12 loads without one issue. Danby offered a 5 year warranty for $74.00 which we took, and after completing their questionnaire they added an additional 2 months! We would highly recommend this washing machine.

I’ve purchased this 8/12/20 and was an easy set in the apartment bathroom fits perfect and it come with adapter that easy install to faucet and have been using it and cleaned very well plus clothes completely dry out the water and clothes dry out next day.

Can i use hot water? And than changed to cold for rinsing?

Pretty neat washer and its quiet. It has an adapter so you can hook it up to garden hose or sink facet. Water is cold but cleans well.

The machine is perfect size - small for small and/or tiny loads. Unfortunately after the 3rd or 4th use - it now leaks from the bottom of the machine.

Super for Apt living, glad I bought this washing machine!

I absolutely love this little machine, it works great . The only thing it’s a bit difficult to move over to the sink otherwise I love it.

It arrived earlier. It's perfect for small area and it's washes excellent and the spins cycle is like coming out of the dryer. I love it and very easy to operate.

Doesn't take much space, washes well and dries so well! It is also very silent and easy to roll, easy to use. The package was not too heavy, I was able to haul it up a flight of stairs by myself. The user's manual is not too descriptive but there are youtube videos etc that you can watch to figure things out. Just a heads up: the package comes with a picture of the machine on it so if you are trying to sneak it past somewhere, make sure to cover it up.

Great product,easy to install and use

Returned it before ever using after learning that it cannot use hot water. The description from Q and A's printed posted a yes response to a customers question about whether hot water could be used so I purchased it. I later read that the company apologized in that they made an error in that response and hot water cannot be used with this washer. Otherwise, it was the perfect size and the see through top was a plus. To alleviate customer confusion, it should be listed as "Cold water compact portable washer". Home Depot provided excellent service with the return of this appliance.

Within about 10 uses it started leaking a little, then it started leaking a lot. Like the entire floor was a swamp. Fortunately, my husband is a millwright so he was able to dissect the entire thing and find out the problem: the plastic funnel that directs the water into the machine is EXTREMELY low quality. So using hot water (just tap hot not scalding) to wash towels and bedding warped it. He fixed it using automotive sealant etc. and reinstalled it. Now it works really well. However, if you use any hot water at all, BEWARE. Plus using even warm water water causes the tub to become very loud temporarily when it spins. So, it depends on your purpose for this machine. If you stick to cold or slightly warm water you may be ok. Now that my husband has upgraded it, I'm very happy with it. But not everyone has a millwright in the family. It fits small amounts, and nothing of heavy fabric like jeans or even beach towels would be too big. But for tea towels, most clothes, pet bedding and queen size sheets (one at a time, low thread count) it's fine, which serves my needs. What would normally be 2-3 loads in a regular machine takes 4-6 loads using this one. Hopefully this review helps you.

It’s a good apartment size machine. Recently bought but water starts leaking from somewhere inside every time i use. Couldn’t track the source of the leak but i would like to ask what is the process to exchange it.

This washer is perfect for any apartment or house that needs to do quick loads, it spins great. Works perfectly.

I unfortunately broke our full size washing machine at the beginning of shelter in place. This machine has been amazing. It was so easy to plug in and has done a great job with our clothes. We have used it a lot for our family of four, and we had no problems at all!

Great little machine. We had to buy parts elsewhere to fit the hose to our faucet, but once we got them it was fine. Runs fairly quiet (though is NOT silent) and does a good job cleaning. Doesn't hold a lot-- maybe 3-4 pairs of jeans, 2-3 thick sweatshirts-- but I knew that going in. Be careful not to overfill.

This washing machine is small, so any load of clothes is small . Is easy to install, connect with a sink faucet, put drain hose in my bathtub, is hook up on my bathtub faucet, because need to be higher then high of washing machine. Only one complaint I have because my machine is leaking on the bottom, is not a lot, for 1 load after is done is about 1-2 glass of water. I resolve that problem by putting a plastic tray under machine, but I think this leaking should not happen, was look around hose connection, but I think is leaking because strong rinse spin .

Just ideal for our apt. It is user friendly and the machine does a great job

This is an update of my first review. I had to send the first unit back as it seemed to be leaking water while filling the tub into the back part of the unit where water is not supposed to go and dripping on the floor. The unit was 100% level so I don't know what was wrong. Home Depot was EXCELLENT and they exchanged it immediately and I have a new unit that appears to be working beautifully. Very satisfied so far, albeit the unit is only days old. Setup is a breeze. However, I am still waiting to hear back about safe temperatures for water in this unit. The unit only has one hookup, so it has to be to a cold inlet, but most of us are hooking up to a faucet, which would then provide hot or cold water. The Danby resellers answered questions about the cold hookup and said you can adjust your wash temp by adjusting your faucet temp. I want to to make sure that if I use warm or hot tap water that I will not be damaging the machine. I seem to be getting mixed messages and the manual makes this very unclear. Hopefully hot water is ok, because it would be very silly to make a machine that hooks up to your faucet but is not safe for warm or hot tap water use.

I have owned this several hours. So far the machine seems good, though it did arrive wet and with water inside it. I have yet to hear back if this is somehow normal? One thing you should know is that that the water intake connection connects at the TOP right of the machine. If you look closely, you can see the circle at the top of the photo. I was planning to store this underneath something and based on the measurements it should have been no problem. HOWEVER, since the hose is connected at the top and not the back, and sticks up, it doesn't fit underneath the counter as planned. The hose sticks up an additional 6 or 7 inches. Unless you bend the hose, which I think would be very bad for it, it needs much more overhead space than listed. Just FYI. I didn't see that in the photo since they don't show the hose attached. It does seem to be very quiet and it spins water out of the clothes well. No clue if this is putting pressure on my old pipes. Hopefully not....
