Jar was previously opened and leaks were apparent. No inner seal. Also purchased 2 other colors that were new and not opened.

Love this paint great coverage and easy to use!

I personally did not like this paint compare to other brands I tried,. I was able to use it once I added it to another paint to get a better less chalky finish also you do have to add water its has a thick consistency like other paints, due to my personal preference I really don't think that I will purchase this brand again.But it may be a paint you would like..

I came across this on clearance and thought I'd give it a shot. I bought the color primitive and worked on a bedroom set. It came out beautiful and the paint had great coverage and went on so smoothly. I'm glad ai found it.

I always check the mistinse. Came across these for six bucks bought two of them. Works great! a little bit goes a long way nice dark finish great for picture borders picture frames DIY signage and much more

Easy to use. Does take a couple of coats to cover well but dries quickly and leaves a beautiful finish. Wish it came in bigger containers for larger projects.

Couldn't use it. The paint was one giant clump that I could mix up and get smooth enough to use. Bummed out, so it was returned.

Easy to use looks great

I've used several other chalk paint brands with great project turnouts. Americana has terrible coverage with obvious brush strokes. I'll return to buying Bher and rustoleum chalk paint.

2 of the jars I picked up were spoiled. The paint was thick and chunky and smelled rotten.

It’s a good paint but it’s not as black as I wanted.

Maybe good for a kids art project, but not anything related to furniture. Spend the extra $ for real chalk paint, unless you want to give your project 5 coats. It's awful, and upset with home depot for selling it as chalk paint.

Not the best chalk paint I've tried, but the quality is good enough for most projects, and its the best you can get for this price. I will definitely keep some in my paint stash.
