Easy to install.
I really like this. have it in junction with a larger head with a Delta 3 setting valve.
Other reviews say the hose twists, well that's just installer error. Common sence will fix this.
If the hose is twisted, loosen the nut on the handheld, untwist the hose. While holding the hose in position tighten the nut with out letting the hose twist. Wala, its fixed. I installed this during a remodel, I used the EL, and mounted it low in the shower. Why, So it will reach the other end of the shower for cleaning and to wash the dog when he gets in with me.
For the others that complain about the head being Plastic. WELL DA, if it was metal you would have a great chance of having a HOT handle. Delta did a great job with this material. Delta is protecting you and then you complain. Jees, you should thank them everyday.
Its easy to adjust up and down, you can turn the head left or right. Up to spray out and down to spray your lower back.

We are extremely annoyed that the handheld arrived lacking...
We are extremely annoyed that the handheld arrived lacking an essential part: the elbow. We later found out that you have to pay extra for this part. That’s absurd! It was ordered, but has not arrived, and so our contractor is unable to put it up. I would like to know when the elbow will arrive.

The hand shower looked nice and the spray options were...
The hand shower looked nice and the spray options were all good, but just overall the water pressure was not that great. I was looking for something to replace my main shower head and I just think hand helds will not cut it. Had to return it.

Shower unit
The jury is still out. It’s only been installed for about 2 weeks and we’re waiting to see how it holds up. So far, so good. Good flow through the shower head. The adjustable bar helps keep getting the line free of tangles with the flow/temp control.

Premium 5-Setting Slide Bar Hand Shower-Terrible
I had this installed and shortly the Slide Mechanism - Traditional Slide Bar died. It will not hold it's position. Piece of junk. Greatly disappointed in the quality.

Either I didn't get what I ordered or the picture is wrong. I did not get the wall elbow where the hose connects. So now I have to send it back or look for the elbow "in bronze" to match the rest of the set. There was a problem with Home Depot on the order as the first on got lost and had to re-order and perhaps in the exchange they sent a different set. I don't know but it is frustrating that now I have to go find an elbow in bronze! Good luck, right?

After shopping around for Delta-brand shower valves and trim kits, the prices and delivery via Home Depot beat out others. This wall mount handheld shower is perfect small profile add-on for new shower. Used diverter valve plus wall elbow to attach.

I love the way it looks, however the part that connects the water to the hose was missing. We had to use an arm pipe to get water to the hose/head so we could shower. Would love to have the original look- disappointed it that area.

This has been a complete disaster. I thought everything was included according to the picture. It looks like the side knob was the on and off shut off valve and it's not. Then the piece that is connected on the hose is a separate purchase and it's also shown on the picture. I know nothing about plumbing. The boxes that are being delivered to me are open UPS might need to be talked to about this. I went directly to the store and the girl there assured me that everything I needed was in the box. My plumber went and could not install it for lack of pieces. now I have to pay him to come back out once I find all the pieces needed and my shower that is not usable.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience, Diana! The elbow shown in the photo is model number 50560. To control the water flow and temperature, you will need an R10000 rough-in valve and a 13/14, 17, or 17T series trim kit.

Practical and stylish
I had this fixture installed when I had my bathroom remodeled with a large shower with a built in bench. I was planning ahead for when someone using the shower might need to sit. This shower fixture with the slide bar and long hose fit the bill perfectly. For me, since I'm relatively tall, I keep the shower head adjusted to the top of the bar and it's just right. I picked this particular fixture because I really liked the style and look of the shower head and it was available in Champagne Bronze which I find to be a warm and beautiful color. The reason I marked it down a little on quality is that after about a year the shower head started leaking. However, Delta stood behind their product and immediately sent me a replacement at no charge. It works wonderfully, better than the first one ever did, so I think that first one was probably defective from the get-go. I'm on well water, so don't have high water pressure, but this shower gives a good, strong flow. I'm very happy with it and would certainly recommend it.

It's a great product with one big problem - the finish is champagne brass but the hose it shipped with was a regular brass finish - does not match at all. I had to use the hose from the old showerhead.
