I ordered and installed one of these in my tub/shower. I used it for both a safety handhold, and use it to retain the shower curtain itself by threading the shower curtain through the handle - which is mounted horizontally. It works very well for both. I've waited about 6 months to see if it might rust, or discolor. It looks as good as the day I installed it, so I'm now ordering 2 more.

The screws didn't line up correctly and as a result the bar is not sturdy and secure.

Installation instructions were extremely minimal and useless. No template for where to pre-drill the two mounting holes which MUST be spaced very precisely. Two tiny set screws attach the bar to the mounting flanges. Extremely weak link in a bar that needs to be very strong.

A very good product

I have put one of these in each shower to the side of the shower valve handle. It is functional but also looks very classy. Better looking than a typical grab bar!

Modern clean lines. Perfect for updated bathrooms.

Great little bar. Installed verticallly to catch the stud. Just be careful to drill your holes at exactly the right distance. No template is included. Not as strong as traditional grab bars but nowhere as ugly either!

The butterfly anchor bolts for the installation in tile process broke right out of box.

Works just as I had hoped

Just installed in our remodeled shower stall. Love the arc as opposed to a straight bar. Placed it vertically alongside the shower handle/valve about 4' to 6' away. It's a great assist for entering the shower. Definitely meet my expectations.

Very bad quality: 1. I purchased two handles, used the box's template to very carefully drill two holes in my shower wall, installed the first one, but the second handle's distance between the two holes was off by 1/8 inch which made it impossible to install onto the two mounting collars. I had to "flatten" out the curve by placing the curved handle into my bench vise (with two steps of lumbar to protect the handle) and gradually squeeze the curve just enough to change the distance by 1/8 inch. 2. One of the taps stripped inside the handle that receives the mounting allen bolts, making it impossible to tighten. Previously I had a horrible problem with a new Delta kitchen faucet's connecting hose separate and spray water all over the cabinet. I will not buy Delta again.
