This is may second item from Delta Simplicity line (first one was with different type of the glass). Based on my experience I would say that sliding Delta shower doors would be my first choice. They are fairly well made (with some minor issues as I will describe below). It is easy to install them and everything required for installation is included. Finally, great customer support: during previous installation I found one door handle to be not in a good shape. Called CS and in 2 days had a new handle. Installation was long and tedious: it took ~4-5 hours to complete. Remove, clean, drill, align, level, cut, assemble. Keep those verbs in mind as they describe major steps involved and consult with very well made manual for installation. Now to the point of minor issue: bronze coating is not perfect and when you will be cutting with metal saw then be extra careful as soon as pain can peel [see picture] . Otherwise, the product is great and I highly recommend it!

We are in the process of building a shower in our pool house, and market, for the benefit of our grandchildren, and keeping the traffic down in our home, we ordered the Simplicity 48 inch by 70 inch bronze tempered glass, spot guard, easy clean doors with a towel bar for added towel storage for our shower. We wanted a shower door that looked good, and is serviceable ( again) for our grandchildren, that would take the stress of repeated use through out the summer, this door is an easy install.

These are really nice doors. I installed them myself but the doors are a little heavy so you might want to have a 2nd person to help (the instructions tell you to have help). Everything comes in one box and the box itself fit in the back of my short bed Ford pickup. It was pretty easy to install – took about 3 hours total. The instructions are very good: clear and concise. One thing you need to know: the anchors they give you are for drywall so if you’re installing on a tiled wall (like I did), you’ll need a drill bit that will go through ceramic tile and buy tile anchors. If you have access to a power saw that will cut through metal, it’ll make the job easier but it’s not strictly necessary. All of the necessary hardware is included and is of excellent quality. Both doors slide easily and smoothly and I love the look of the “rain” glass. As you can see from the photos, it is really pretty. I can’t imagine anyone being disappointed in this product.

The Delta Simplicity 48 in. x 70 in. Semi-Frameless Traditional Sliding Shower Door in Bronze with Rain Glass was a great find for us. These doors are attractive and well-made. Installation is not difficult if you're reasonably handy. The step-by-step instructions are clear, and it's important to follow them exactly. The hardest part is cutting the top and bottom rails to the correct length. The way I did it: First, the top and bottom rails will NOT be cut to the same length. (The instructions are clear about this, but it's worth emphasizing.) Second, when you install the top rail, put a level on it and make sure it's level. If it isn't, the doors won't close correctly, or stay closed. You can adjust the side that's too low by raising the location of the screw that holds the top rail clip. (This will make sense once you have the parts in front of you.) I think I got my money's worth

This Delta Simplicity (48 inch X 70 inch) semi-frameless traditional sliding shower door in nickel with rain glass looks great and was fairly easy to install. The packaging was well done, protecting the glass doors and hardware. The glass doors had plastic corner peices to protect the doors from chipping during the installation process. They were easily removed after the installation was complete. One item to note, if you move the rolling wheel to it's lower adjustment setting, it is difficult to insert it in the top rail and the door does not roll easily. Otherwise, this is a great shower door.

being a retired contractor / handyman this install went extremely easy. as for all the people who complained about water hitting their floor they don't know how to install a shower door. I lowered the sides by 3/16 of an inch and left the wheels in the center location and everything works out perfect. I couldn't be happier with this door.

I am very pleased with this shower door. Looks nice and is good quality. Assembly took about 2.5hrs and the instructions where pretty good. The color was described as Brushed Bronze, but it's dark brown. It still worked for my bathroom.

I often think that, rather than read and report on traditional books in English class, students should be required to write a manual. The installation manual for this product is the rare case of clearly written, comprehensive instructions. It could be a model for student course work if the students had to learn a practical skill rather than traditional topics. Aside from that, the shower door looks good and was reasonably easy to install. There are a lot of steps, though, so plan to take some time. It's worth noting that a second towel bar can be purchased separately; the door kit comes with a towel bar for the outside door and two knobs for the inside door. My only disappointment was with the clear silicone caulk I chose; it was difficult to get a smooth line when working with more than a short distance to seal, and it required mineral spirits for cleanup.

Like a few others have said, water splashes out onto the floor from the inner glass door, due to a half inch gap between the bottom of the glass and the threshold. Delta should include a rubber "bumper" attached to the bottom of the glass to prevent this problem. Note included photo.

This shower door is gorgeous. I researched several glass doors for my bathroom renovations and finally settled on Delta simplicity. My contractor commented how easy it was to install. I am thrilled that home depot sold this product for such a good price. The doors slide easily and does not slam when closing. You will need to clean the glass often but it’s beautiful and worth it. If you are thinking about purchasing this shower door, DO IT!

This door was installed on a 68.5 inch fiberglass shower with no problems. The white frame blends in well with the fiberglass and the Niebla glass hides most of what is behind it. We added $100 of tile from Home Depot to the walls above it and our shower is completely transformed. Love it!

Excellent shower doors, especially for the price. Very well made with solid construction. Beautifully desiged, Clean lines with A reversible top rail, giving the option to switch to either a more modern or more triditional look.

Through some missing parts left on the local store dock, we followed the instructions step by step, took about 3 hours, turned out great! Use a clear silicon seal as directed and no leaks. Very happy with this product!

Once the unit was properly installed with the correct screws for the door bracket, it was a nice looking shower door. We liked the simple design of the door. The installation was not too difficult. However, once the unit was installed, the doors would bang up against one another as they slid past each other. I called Delta and they sent me new door brackets with screws that had smaller heads. Once those brackets were attached to the doors and the doors re-installed, the doors slid past each other with just an occasional click. It was no fun having to take the doors off (I actually did it more than once because I thought perhaps the fault was mine) multiple times in order to solve the problem. Poor quality control on Delta's part.

The glass is more opaque and has a green tint to it - the images do not reflect this. Also, my shower is apparently not completely level; as a result, the doors slide open on their own. We are exploring options to fix this, but if the closures were tighter, this wouldn't be an issue.

Very nice. I really like the Droplet Glass. Shipping was high so if possible pickup at the store.

Just finished installing. We have a molded fiberglass shower with a seat. The doors look GREAT installed -- as nice as the matching bath tub doors I installed about a month ago. It deserves a FIVE Star rating on craftmanship and beauty. But gets a "3". For our typical molded fiberglass shower, it is about 1.5 inches too short. This is a big trouble. In order to get it to fit I would have had to carve the upper track/railing so that the lower part would be within the fiberglass and the upper part against the wall. It would have been very difficult -- and a pretty ugly set up. To make it workable, I order two sets of Home Depot glass door brackets. These were fastened with bolts to the top of the Delta door brackets. The excellent Delta ball bearing roller replaced the cheap plastic roller on the Home Depot brackets. I added reinforcement to the Home Depot bracket to make it stronger (discarded the rubber clamp insert) (reinforcement not yet installed in the photo shown). And to accommodate the needed height, extensions had to be riveted to the side uprights. Photos are attached. Took a lot of time to figure and make look decent. The brackets show, but we are quite happy with the installation and the Delta Doors. The design engineers should anticipate the height requirement.

I love my new shower door. It rolls smoothly, keeps the water in the shower and looks GREAT. I had the contractor install it, so I can't speak to ease of installation.

For the price, a beautiful shower door. Well made and easy to install (detailed installation instructions). Top rail arrived with a very noticeable scratch, and their 800 online sales associate had a replacement shipped quickly, at no charge.

Good value - great price for a very decent product. I have another brand in my home, which is better, but at 40% more cost. Novice homeowner that I am, I did it very leisurely in 3 1/2 hours... instructions were spot on - no challenges. Doors slide a bit too fast - you need to make anyone using them aware to slide them slowly - otherwise, they will slam against the side. Because I installed a prefab plastic shower (shower pan, back and 2 sides), this was the pairing of doors suggested by Home Depot.... the opening to get into the shower is reduced to 19 inches... not a problem unless you're girthy.

All the parts matched up easily and once installed, the glass moves easily. It is easy to clean as well and I keep getting compliments on the overall appearance. The value is unheard of. If I purchased the glass only locally it would cost $1300. Enough said.

This shower door is very attractive. I was suprised at the quality of the door and the handles. The instructions were clear, and it took about 30 minutes to install. I was especially impressed with the door bumpers, which feel nice and solid when closing the doors. I also like that the top rail is reversible for a more caual style or more elaborate style.

The install was a piece of cake. Make sure you set up a taller mitre box. You will want a back fence that is at least 5" tall for cutting the top rail to length. I placed blue tape over where I made my cut to help keep the finish clean while cutting. The glass doors are heavy so make sure that you get assistance. The instructions were clear and easy to read. All hardware was included, even the mollies. I love this shower door. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to convert their shower or even replace. Couldn't be happier now that my floor stays dry after my girlfriend uses the shower. The only thing I would change would be is if the door hangers could be hidden better. When looking up next to it, you can see the chrome door hangers. Maybe if they were the same color as the trim, you wouldn't notice them.

The glass doors are nice and operate smoothly, at times almost too smoothly. The oiled bronzed finish is dark, which it's supposed to be, but that copper/caramel bronze doesn't come through hardly at all... The hardest thing about this install is cutting the frame to fit nicely. Cutting it is a 2 person job. The top rail I wasn't to impressed with, it has somewhat of a rolling back action when it sits on top. This made me nervous about putting glass door on it... Once I situated it best I made sure to silicone around edges very well to ensure stabilization before hanging doors.. Everything is working fine but I feel as though this could of bee engineered a little better or added a stability screw.

These glass shower doors were the perfect finish to our master bath. It has a nice design, its easy to clean when needed, the doors slide back and forwards smoothly and seal up tight when the shower is going. Overall, it was easy to install! We are very happy with our doors!!

We're very pleased with the new shower doors. The ability to customize the doors and the hardware was a great plus. The doors and hardware are well made. Installation was straightforward. I suspect that anyone who buys these will be pleased.

The installation was not too bad. Some adjustments needed after installation. The door looks nice and the quality is pretty good. One downside is the coated side of the door, it still retains water spots. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.
