This oil-rubbed bronze shower trim can't be beat at this price for the design. The head pivots a bit, which is a nice feature. I'd say it's a hybrid between the traditional showerhead and a rainfall head. The handle feels fairly solid. How it actually functions is the problem. Showerhead leaks, but more importantly, no warm water is coming out. Professionally installed, purchased the recommended new Delta rough-in valve, followed the instructions, looked for the component to adjust hot/cold, but there wasn't any component to adjust hot/cold. So if you like great design and cold-only showers, this is your go-to showerhead.

This piece is absolutely majestic! VERY attractive. Delta makes great faucets and shower heads and this piece is no different. This looks like it costs as much as it does and that is important when considering a more expensive shower head compared to cheaper alternatives. You want to feel like you're getting what you're paying for and this shower head absolutely nails it in that regard. The water pressure is good and the nozzle looks great along with the shower head itself. Would recommend this to anyone looking for that premium feel in a shower head.

This is a nice looking faucet. Also, it's a good quality faucet...just not a great quality faucet. The shower head, as well as the valve control handle shower arm, and face plate are all constructed of heavy weight metal with a nice chrome finish. At approximately 8 1/2" X 5 3/4", the shower head is a bit narrow. I realize the rectangular look is kinda cool, but the 5 3/4" dimension is too narrow a spray, while the 8 1/2" dimension is sufficient. In fact, I was using an 8" diameter rain shower head that has much better coverage than this one. I found that if I positioned the shower head with the long side parallel to the shower arm, water coverage was better, although it didn't look as nice. Another drawback to this faucet is Delta's decision to not include the rough-in valve. In fact, they include the actual valve, but the user must purchase the rough-in valve body separately. I ordered the R10000-UNBX before I received my faucet, knowing that the faucet is useless without the rough-in valve. At $30, the cost is minimal. That makes Delta's decision more ridiculous. This was my reason for an average score on the "Value" part of this rating. Installation is not hard or complicated. But it is time consuming. The R1000-UNBX is fitted with four 1/2" NPT fittings: hot water supply on the left; cold water supply on the right; shower head supply on the top; tub spout supply on the bottom. The tub spout supply needs to be "capped" unless this faucet will be used in a tub/shower configuration. As a shower only faucet, the user needs to purchase a 1/2" NPT brass cap. As a tub/shower faucet, the user needs to purchase a tub spout. Either way, the faucet is, again, incomplete. Also, although the shower arm compliments the look of the shower head, your shower head riser should be at least 84" (7") high. The drop on the arm and shower head is about 3", so that puts the shower head less than 7' high. Any lower, a taller person would not enjoy a wide spread rain shower effect. If you like the look of this faucet, do not let this review discourage you from purchasing it. Just understand it's limitations, and the extra purchases you will need to make in order to complete the installation.

Shower head was easy to install. I do wish that the Delta hardware valve was included as everything would be there to install in one step. This is a very modern looking shower head and provides a great relaxing shower. My wife always wanted a rain shower and she really enjoys this product. Water pressure is very good. This shower head really updated the look of our shower.

This Delta product is the ultimate in styling and performance. The showerhead is over 8 inches wide, providing a large water stream area.

Let me begin by saying it is indeed very modern and beautiful looking faucet trim kit. Even though I knew prior to installation that I need a correct Delta hardware in order to install handle and was ready for it, I am questioning wisdom of not including one. Having said that it is a very high quality shower faucet and a pleasure to use it.

It looks nice and works perfectly, but my husband made the exact same shower head for less than $100. save your money!!
