Easy to use, with the exception of the split point port, I couldn't figure out how to use it, and the instructions don't offer much help. I'm using the sharpener for drills used in CNC machines. Drills perform well after using the drill doctor.

I do not recommend this product because it does not comply, I feel like I wasted my money buying this.

I tried for years to re-sharpen drill bits watch YouTube videos by hand easy on YouTube could never do it just could never get the hang of sharpening a dull drill bit so I bit the bullet and bought this unit not knowing what to expect used it once after watching some YouTube videos on how to use this unit I am floored amazed and taken back this unit is double awesome what a game changer for me I would highly recommend this unit and I would buy it again

Sharpens but won’t pierce and cut through metal. Of no use to me. Returned.

I have good quality bits and some cheap bits. I sharpened only the quality bits that needed it because of wear. But all of the cheaper bits needed sharpened because of improper angles when purchased. Once you familiarize yourself with the sharpening procedure, professional sharpening is made easy and fun! Thank you Drill Doctor.

I am impressed with Drill Doctor 750x. Its very easy to use and saves me a ton of money resharpening bits instead of buying new. The manual is very detailed and easy to understand. I have sharpened 1/4 in up to 1/2 in and it has saved me from buying new.

hard to understand directions. messed up one bit trying to figure out. even after getting procedures correct, drill bits were still dull after going thru the sharpner. Will just buy new drill bit set.

This drill doctor is great for re-sharpening drill bits. The instructions were fairly easy to follow, and once you get the hang of how to use it it's easy to quickly sharpen drill bits. Saves you money in the long run if you think about it. This is not recommend for titanium coated drill bits as it removes the titanium coating, but if the coating is already worn away then sharpen them up.

The Drill Doctor 750X Drill Bit Sharpene is extremely easy to use. I sharpened a box of drills without any problems. I would recommend this to anybody that needs to sharpen their drillbits.

Does a good job sharpening worn bits and fairly quickly. I had the old version that was powered by a drill. Guess I never ran the drill fast enough since this one is rated at 15,000 rpm. Locating the bit in the chuck is easy. Turning the chuck while sharpening goes well. For the split point, I found that I have to redo the bit alignment in the chuck after sharpening. I guess there is a tolerance stackup that prevents my bit reaching the stone for the split point grind. Creating a split point on a larger bit (3/8) is slow. I would not try fixing a broken bit because it would take too long. Start first on a bench grinder to rough shape it. Finish on the Drill Doctor.

Not as good as expected for the price. Thin plastic guide spiral is already slightly mushed. Diamond wheel has high spots resulting in grooved finish. Often difficult to align flutes with grabbers for positioning.

A bit pricey and it should go up to 1" drill sizes, however it's One of the Most Valuable Tools to have if you want to complete a project. Sharp drill bits save time, effort and money.

Easy to use. Takes a little practice for maximum performance by controlling cutting depth and turning speed. Don't expect drill bit to come out like new, but will make unusable drill bits work. Exceeded my expectations.
