It works good, but puts off a strong smell. We did what the directions say. We have used it 4 times and it still smells really strong.

The wick wont stay lit and the shut off switch doesnt work most of the time.wick burns only on one side. For the price NOT WORTH THE MONEY THAT IT COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over priced! Did not like the container for the kerosene— to much trouble taking it out and having to get it back in the space . I returned it before it was used.

Arrived fast and works great. Heats our living room and kitchen.

Just like one I had for 20 years ... put aside for future need !

Heater works well and gives alot of heat . Just dont understand why it cost so much at homedepot and less at other stores.

I love it

The knob doesn't seem to work - every time I try to light it the knob snaps back to off. When I can get it to stay on it doesn't allow me to turn the heat down - just snaps off again. The flame is too high and it needs to be turned down. No way to do it.

I really like the size, I wished that it had a fan on it to blow the heat out a little more but that wasn't a factor in my decision to purchase.

This is an effective heater. It is a design that has been around for many years. However, when I first lit the heater the ignition device would not retract because the bottom shroud was to close to the device travel path. This meant that once pushed up there was no way for the igniter to fall back and turn off. I solved this by bending the bottom reflector shroud with vice grips. This is not what I would hope for right out of the box. Someone who was not mechanicaly inclined would have had to drain the heater down (virtually impossible), repackage and return. This is a very major problem. Thanks very much for asking.
