We’ve had it for a few weeks now. The ambiance is great and it provides some heat. It’s not super powerful, but in a smaller area it heats up pretty well. The flickering effect of the logs is really nice and it does a projection from the back so it looks fairly realistic. The motor for the fan is pretty quiet. We’re pleased with it so far. Hope it lasts a long time

The ambiance that the Duraflame Electric Log gives off is stunning but not so much heat…that could be improved. Still a keeper. Better than burning wood!

Very easy to set up, light weight, works beautifully with nice lighting and generates good heat for our living room.

We did our research, so we knew this is a glorified space heater. For what it cost, and the 'flames' it creates in our firebox, we love it! And, it works great as far as a heat source in our living room.

It’s definitely the vibe I was looking for when trying to revive my closed off fireplace. I wish it gave off more heat, though.

I was super impressed with this heater. It looks great in my fireplace,( that I am currently unable to use.) it’s a real nice replacement. The heat output is outstanding. This heats my living room better than running my furnace.

Disappointing. The light from the flames is so very dim even with the lights low or off. Not even worth having if it doesn't give off any light and I mean it really isn't bright at all, not one bit.

Pretty happy with this purchase. Provides a nice ambiance to the room. The heater is a bit too noisy and weak to feel it. I would recommend getting some type of a crackle noise to go with it.

love it. Got it in the fireplace of our 1947 built home and it adds ambiance as well as HEAT! We turn it on every night since we got it, and often all day long since the weather has been so cold here in Georgia. Even our pets love sleeping in front of it!

The Duraflame log set is better than described. It looks as real as any other set without the mess and maintenance. It has a fan forced heating element which was a pleasant surprise and should be in the description. It adds warmth to the room over several minutes. Would buy again.

Was looking for an smaller electric log heater for my faux fireplace, and this one doesn’t disappoint. Plenty of heat, as well as realistic looking flames projected out the back. A great deal for the $$$

Great for the price. It looks like a real flames and the projector of flames works well. I wish it made a crackling sound. Overall a nice product for the price.

Very happy with purchase. If you don’t want to bother with mess of word burning this is great. Wish it put out more heat but it does put out a little. Nice ambiance. Really looks nice. Just plug it in. Super easy and love the remote.
