This propane heater is wonderful. I had it installed in my family room and even on low it keeps the room nice and toasty. On medium it helps warm up the upstairs.

We love this heater. We were tired of paying high power bills and decided to install 3 of these dyna-glo heaters. The 30,000 btu and 2 6000 btu's. Now my house is warm. Wish I had done this several years ago. Gas heat is the best.

It takes 5 minutes or longer on first start up to get air out of gasline.

I bought this unit ro replace an old 5 brick burrner which is not thermostat controlled. But i can controll how many bricks burn,first setting one brick burn, 2nd setting 3 bricks burn, 3rd setting five bricks burn. But on this new unit all five bricks burn no matter the setting. Not fuel efficient all. Burned through 5 gallons of propane in less than 14hrs with outside temp 45•f and trying keep inside temp at 55•f. My old unit would last a week with a 20lb bottle which is 5gallons and keep the temp where i need it. Out with new and back in with the old.

This heater works great , has 3 heat settings and easy to use . Got this for times when the power goes out . It happens a lot .

Has been working OK most of the time. But a few times on the high setting observed flashbackwhen turning on the High setting, with a significant roaring sound. Was able to turn back to pilot, and then back to high, and operate normally. Was operating with a single stage grill regulator. Just received a 2 stage regulator, as recommended. Removal of panel to install accessory fan, was hard to do without bending back of heater. The thermostat in the accessory fan will only turn it on a the highest setting, or after a long time on the medium setting.
