Did not hold up to ratings. The UV light barely...
Did not hold up to ratings. The UV light barely attracts the flies. It does kill the flies once they fly into the fan, or reservoir, IF they fly into it. I’d recommend looking for a more effective, or at very least another trap to support the effort to kill the pests

The unit works excellent, my goal was primarily for inside...
The unit works excellent, my goal was primarily for inside use. It does catches and kills North Texas tiger tail mosquitoes as no other zapper unit did (I tried many of them). The only draw backs to this size unit is the sq. ft. coverage 300 ft and no replacement bulb is sold. So I got a bigger coverage unit that offers replacement bulbs. The Dynatrap unit really works.

Solves the bug problem about 85% on my 16’x20’...
Solves the bug problem about 85% on my 16’x20’ deck. Definitely much better than before but still a few mosquitoes here and there. Overall happy with the purchase.

Really works! I have had a problem of keeping those pesky pantry moths for the past 2 years. Since I plugged in the Dynatrap indoor catcher I rarely see one! It’s quiet, and easy to hang. Great buy!

I am using this indoors to capture some moths. It has worked. I would recommend for small spaces since it says it does 300 sq feet For my purpose, indoors it is/was perfect I like that this unit is an attractive design as well.

The cord was too short to get the proper distance...
The cord was too short to get the proper distance from the sitting area. I am also concerned that the connection where the power cord meets the unit is not really waterproof and safe for inclement weather. Giving it a try. Haven’t really seen it’s effectiveness on mosquitos. Plenty of moths but the mosquitos are definitely still biting!

need to contact Dynatrap people...i think the light is very poor/broken or just sucks....the light is not powerful enough to draw anything in and the plug gets very hot. will update after speaking with Dyna/home depot.

Thank you for your feedback. The UV lightbulb does not light up as bright as a normal light bulb. During the day you might only notice that it’s on because it will cast a blue glow around the inside of the unit on the top and fan. At night the glow will be more apparent, but the bulb itself might not be bright. Sometimes the bulb will look brighter in some spots than others; this is nothing to worry about. This can be attributed to chemical and temperature differences. As the bulb runs longer, it may even itself out more. Please contact us at 877-403-8727 with any questions.

Smaller than expected and wish it had a longer power...
Smaller than expected and wish it had a longer power cord. It will not reach outlet and be able to hang it. Seems to help big population and is quiet.

Bought this to curb the mosquito population on our porch. When I unpacked it and read the instructions, it stated it was not for outside use. Cannot believe you can’t use it outside!?

Can't Work for Mosquitos
Mosquitoes are NOT attracted to UV light but the other end of the spectrum IR light (heat).
Mosquitoes are attracted to CO2 but, the design would result in any CO2 generated being expelled through the bottom resulting in no mosquito attracted through the top where they could be trapped.

I tried 2 of these both inside and outside. Inside,...
I tried 2 of these both inside and outside. Inside, there wasn’t much to catch but one fly, it didn’t ever catch it. Outside I put them about 3 feet off the ground, at ground level and at 5 ft off the ground to measure efficiency, all it ever caught was a few moths.

It seems to be working for our wasp issue on...
It seems to be working for our wasp issue on the deck area. It doesnt make much noise or have any indicator lights so its hard to know if its even on sometimes.
