Echo 21 inch electric mower
Great self propelled battery powered lawn mower. It runs several hours with the 2-56 volt batteries installed. I just love it.

First day…
Got got to use my new Echo 56v self propelled mower. The grass was real high and thick. Mower worked great. I still own a Makita 36v self propelled (3yrs old) and it would have bogged down 5 times at least. The Echo only bogged down 1 time in really thick stuff (I did not use the turbo button) If you compare the 2 mowers the Echo seems like a better built mower with more power for around the same price.

Not for thicker grass, larger yards
Claims it goes up to 70 minutes on one battery. I got 28 mins based on pic, push only. Can’t get my yard done with two batteries (roughly 10k sf with small hills and pretty thick grass). In fairness this seems to be standard: no matter what the most you can expect is 60 minutes with maximum batteries using push only. Blade does not lift grass high enough, leaves lots of clumps. Ok for small yards. Just don’t think electric is there for those of us with larger, tougher yards.

Lightweight. Quiet. Easy For Anyone To Control.
So many benefits. This battery-powered mower is lightweight, super quiet, is easy to maneuver, and comes with a powerful LED light. I can mow early in the morning or late at night thanks to the light and the lack of noise. Family members have borrowed it and expressed how easy it was to handle compared to their gas-powered mowers. Highly recommend!!

Great mower with decent power and battery life
Very impressed with the power, ease of use and battery longevity with this ECHO eForce mower so far. It has a 21” steel deck, has a 3 in 1 discharge for mulching, bag or side discharge and has the ability to use 2 56V batteries for even longer cut time. I don’t have a large property(@4200sq ft) but measure how long a battery lasts based on cutting the front and back. My current battery mower can cut front/back and has 2 bars left(out of four)on battery pack-The eForce ECHO did it with 3 bars left(out of four). It has a simple to use start system-just push start button and depress handle to engage blade. It is self propelled but I generally don’t use but it works very smoothly. It has 7 different cutting heights and is easy to adjust. It also has LED lights for lower light cutting and handle folds for storage. This model comes with one battery but you can get another and it will auto switch to 2nd one when needed. Even like the black/orange color scheme and cleans simple with garden hose. I tried to find something I didn’t like but couldn’t so this is def a winner in my book and a great mower to transition from gas to battery if you are so inclined.

        Awesome Electric Lawn Mower
ECHO, Brand, eFORCE 56V 21 in. Cordless Battery Walk Behind Self-Propelled Lawn Mower with 5.0-Ah Battery and Charger performed as well as my corded electric mowers I have owned and used over the years. The single battery performed much better than anticipated. However, a second battery will be needed to do my entire front lawn without stopping to recharge. The 5.0-amp hour batteries require 75 minutes each to recharge when they are fully discharged. There is a battery gauge on the mower handle that illuminates for a few second when then start button is pushed. When the battery is exhausted the mower will emit a beeping sound and with continued use, the mower will soon stop. The mower height is easily adjusted to seven heights with a single handle. The grass catcher is large and works exceptionally well. There is no cut grass blowback into the user’s face, it fills well and holds a lot of grass clippings. The mower blade also created good vacuum picking up fallen oak leaves on the lawn while it was mowed. I did however use the mower the entire time in Turbo mode. I used the self-propelled function too the entire time while mowing. Overall, I was highly impressed with the performance of the Echo eForce mower. It exceeded my expectations, performed exceptionally well and I considered it to be of commercial grade quality in performance, construction, and operation.

        Nice Electric Lawnmower
The Echo 21 inch Brushless Electric Lawnmower sold by The Home Depot is a quality tool. It is well built and is well designed. The lawnmower is mostly assembled and comes with excellent instructions. The battery takes a little bit longer to charge than other units but it has a longer run time. The handle is very versatile to adjust to several heights. The mower is very quiet and cuts well. I also appreciate that the unit is self driving. In addition. I like how easy it is to adjust the cutting height with just one lever. My lawn is on the larger size so I mostly use the mulching feature or just let the grass fly.

        Excellent product
If I could give this more stars I would. I have been slowly converting to battery operated lawn tools since my husband passed because I don’t know how to fix them and that’s especially true with the lawnmower. He did the tuneup on it every year and that’s not something I care to learn, so enter the ease of battery operated lawnmowers. I had one but it was a push mower and only 16” wide, I found out quickly that I’m not up to pushing one for my entire lawn, give me self-propelled. So enter the Echo- Eforce 56v 21” self-propelled battery operated lawnmower. Model # DL -2100SP. The box was pretty beat up but the lawn mower was fine. I had a little trouble with putting the control part of the handle on, but thank you YouTube, I was able to get it attached. Just needed to be more forceful. The handle is very adjustable to the height that works for you and easy to do. The mower height is very easy to adjust too. It goes from 1” to 4”. It also has 3 ways to use it, mulching, rear bag or side discharge, which can come in handy. The battery is pretty large and heavy compared with other batteries have. According to the specifications the battery will last up to 70 minutes if your not using the self propel. It doesn’t mention how long it lasts using self propel. A huge plus is that you can easily store this vertically. Takes up so much less room. It comes with a 5 year consumer warranty, 2 years if your using it commercially. Now for performance, this mower gets a 5 star plus for performance. It’s easy to start, easy to maneuver, does a great job cutting ( I used the mulched), you can go as slow as you want or as fast as you want. A couple times it was going faster than I was. Turns at first a little tricky but I got the hang of it. It has plenty of power. I think it has even more power than our old gas mower, I can walk a lot faster with this Echo. The pics show what I cut, unfortunately the lawn service was here only 2 days ago so your not going to see a dramatic difference. I got this for emergency use, lawn guy is sick, taking care of leaves on the lawn between cuts. For any single ladies looking for an easy lawnmower to maintain and use this the mower to get. For everyone else this is a fantastic mower. I highly recommend the Echo DLM-2100 SP.

Super Mower for all parts of the yard
Super Mower for all parts of the yard. It comes with a bagger, a shoot or a mulcher (no shoot in first 3 pictures represent no shoot/mulcher) as adjustable items. The mower can have the wheels adjusted for depth by one smooth handle near back right rear wheel for up to 7 heights if I remember correctly. The mower is powerful but not loud to use. It comes with a front light and a turbo button plus it has the self propelled option to use full time or only when needed with the rocker paddles closest to you and the self propelled feature is strong and will pull you along with an adjustable switch to move that along from fast turtle speed to almost a sprint! I did several areas of the yard and didn't even use the first bar on the battery remaining monitor. It took about 15-20 minutes to charge the battery when received and advertises 15-30 minutes to fully charge for a run down battery. I believe I saw where on the box it would cut the grass with one battery on about 1/3 of an acre but has a slot to hold up to two of the 56 volt batteries at a time. One 56 volt battery is shipped with the unit and essentially the mower ships all assembled with the exception of needing to put the top handle control into the two handle forks. The unit folds up to where the handles fold over the mowers motor and stands up in a corner on its rear tail by simple pulling two retractable places on the handle forks. Surprisingly the unit with battery weighs in at about 70 lbs. It assembled out of the box in about 5 minutes once you got it out of the box and read the directions of the two screws on the handle bar that needed to be inserted.

Best battery mower for the money
We have almost 1 acre yard so I use a Zero turn for the big part, and push mower for the trimming. I leaned heavily toward a Dewalt but I've had good luck with Echo power equipment and own a number of the Gen1 battery (58v) tools and they've been flawless. At the price this mower is sold for, it was a deal. Added chainsaw and soon the trimmer to the collection. Plus wife finds it easy to start. Win!

Super easy to charge, start, and manipulate speeds and light weight enough for an older woman to handle. Batteries last through 3 uses of a 1/4 acre yard. Love it!

          Love the mower
Love the mower in all respects except for the inability to pull it in reverse very quickly. Good battery life. Handle height has good height adjustment. Easy to maneuver.

          Echo lawnmower
I love the lawnmower. It is easy to use being a woman in her 60s. I would like it if the front wheels had the power rather than the rear wheels. Also, when I want to back up, it is hard as the wheels lock for a few seconds. Finally I would like a speed between the regular and the turbo. Otherwise, I love it!

This lawn mower replaced my older ECHO mower I had for over 10 years. For a self-propelled, it is simple to master, no major assembly required and is start up and go. The automatic battery switchover is a plus. Great mower and Home Depot has the best deal. Thanks Home Depot

          Good buy
The lawnmower does a good job cutting grass but there is a learning curve for it. Starting and stopping will reduce the cutting time on the battery. I use one battery and I can cut 3/4 of my back yard on a charge, about an hr. My front yard is small and has a lot more f stop and starts so it takes 1/2 a charge. I can tell that Two batteries will be enough to do my whole yard front and back

It’s a great device, and I only had it for about 2-3 weeks now, and it’s not cutting my grass. Wondering if it’s has a defect in it or what ??‍??

            Great lawn motor no regrets
Great lawn motor. Wish batteries would last longer. I have weak wrist and can’t start a string gas motor this is great. Wish there was no plastic pieces but seems everything has plastic these days.
