To avoid a ton of mitre cuts, I used these around all the interior doorways----and what a difference they make! Beautiful! Changes a stark doorway into a showpiece. Just know that one kit fits up to a 36" wide door and, despite the headline description (which the company admits is wrong and promised six months ago to fix but has not), the actual thickness of the casing is about 3/8" which makes it very easy to nail up with a brad nailer or by hand. By hand, I would cut the legs to fit, glue it and nail it. With the nailer, just nail in the cove.

Thank you, Duchess. The actual dimensions in the title refer to the size of the assembled package, not the actual pieces of trim. We added a diagram to show the 3/8 wide dimension, so we hope that explains it better. Thanks again!

The bottom 3 inches of the vertical 96" door jamb...
The bottom 3 inches of the vertical 96" door jamb was damaged upon arrival. It didn't matter though because I had to cut off the damaged portion of the door jamb to fit into the existing door frame. So all things turned out ok after I made the adjusting measurements and cuts to fit the door frame.
