Use these all the time and very pleased! Bonus is I got these on special at Home Depot!

I ordered this back in November and I just opened it up today and found 2 bags of charcoal were missing. My fault for not opening sooner

I've purchased this product before and it’s satisfactory, but my last order went into a black hole. Promised 12/20 delivery was missed. HD Cust Svc opened a "case" for me (an arduous process - you can only call or chat via SMS). I got one email saying I should receive my shipment by 1/2/24. I still don’t have it, I’ve gotten no further updates, and a 1/4/24 call to HD Cust Svc was a waste of time. HD sells fine products, free delivery is nice, but if things go sideways, you may be screwed.

Long time Kingsford customer, but driven to this by a combination of Kingsford's recent shrinkflation and Home Depot's recent inflation. It is cheaper per unit, but the quality is poor compared to Kingsford (crackles while burning, like it's got a lot of filler), and it burns much faster, so you're going to end up using a lot more, so in the end probably more expensive and lower quality.

I used Kingsford for years when i tried Embers that is what I use now .

I bought a 20 lb. bag of Embers by Royal Oak charcoal briquettes to cook a brisket for 14 hours overnight. However, the Embers briquettes only lasted 4 hours. I was lucky enough to have had enough Kingsford’s briquettes to finish the remining 10 hours of cooking. Don’t waste your money on Embers by Royal Oak charcoal briquettes. They will not last. The package touts it as being long burning. That was not true in my case. You have been warned!

Works just like charcoal because it is charcoal!

Sold as an equivalent substitute for Kingsford. In the past, no other charcoal has performed as well as Kingsford. This came as close to it as any I have used. Very acceptable substitute. Will buy it again.
