Used 8 of these U hooks to hang heavy garden tools onto garage wall 1. Attached a 1"x 2" board strip (painted white) onto garage wall with 2.5" screws into studs. 2. Screwed in U hooks. 3. Hung tools on hooks.

THIS HOOK IS VERY VERSATILE FOR HANGING A VARIETY OF TOOLS AND ITEMS.

Perfect for light duty use. Garden tools, hammers, etc. They need to be mounted into studs or some solid wood backing.

I am using it to hold my gate open. Works very nicely for that

I don't have strong hands so I used a screwdriver to twist it in the last few turns. This caused the rubbery piece to slip off.
