Sturdy enough to hold some weight.

These brackets are very sturdy. I have purchased a total of 10 of them for a project in my garage. No worries about breaking these

When trying to drill the screws in, you won't be able to screw them in straight because the angled bar will block you from being able able to hold the drill in a stright line with the screw. Yes, the top 2 wholes are slightly offset so they aren't directly under the bar, but not enough. The screws will not go in straight and won't be able to go flush bc they will hit the edge of the hole. They conviently hide this in the instruction video though you can still see the struggle for alignment.

Good strong shelf bracket. Nice finish...even the labels peeled off easily without having to use chemicals.

Bought three to correct the sag of a 6' wide closet shelf that was being pulled down by the attached clothes rod. One did the trick.
