Easy to install for someone who isn't super handy but does own a drill. Nice and sturdy for my double gate which blew open with the wind using the cane bolt that was installed by the landscapers who put the fence up. The only trouble I had is that the gates are a little too far apart for the bolt to reach so I'll have to figure out a little piece of wood to extend where I can put the loop. Otherwise, great purchase.

Well built product. I tried other can bolts and this one is heavy duty enough to keep gate in place. Love the product

All worked fine. The gate handles should have come with Two lag screws and Two Bolts instead of one each.

I welded it onto my gate . I then welded an extension to it to go deeper into the ground. It tolerates welding. Not cheap metal. I recommend this product.

Nice Heavy-duty Cane Locking Bolt used on my three fence gates . There's another style but this one from Home Depot works fantastic and less expensive. I would definitely recommend this Locking Cane Bolt.

Easy install. Nice and stout. Holds a 12' gate in place during high winds.

Very heavy duty. Installed in under 10 minutes. It is pretty heavy so it may make your door sag if it's not too strong, especially if you put a lock on it. A little overkill for most, but great if you need the reach and a cane bolt that can lock. A little funny how most of the screws were Phillips #2, while 4 of them were #3 sized. Like the other reviewer said, the tolerance for the two guides was very small, so I had to unscrew it, wiggle it around, and tighten it slowly.

Very well constructed; however, the holes in the guides have pretty tight tolerances so their alignment needs to be perfect in order for the cane bolt to move up and down freely.

Heavy duty, easy to use/install, great product, take it from a framer

18 inches is way to short. Need at least 31 inches in length. I returned this item.
