Best value for the money

Was less expensive online than in store.

This vacuum breaker valve worked perfectly. Now there is no noise when I run water faucet on the outside of my house

Set screw should be replaced with hex screw so it can be removed via hex wrench to replace it as these typically have a shorter useful life compared to hose bibb. Drilling and/or sawing makes life difficult.

High quality, works well. Replaced old vacuum breaker where I had to drill out the set screw to get off.

Didn’t do what I thought it was supposed to do. Didn’t work..

Worked awesome looks cool when the water sprays out.

The Home Depot hardware rep suggested Arrowhead Brass hydrant without the vacuum breaker and to then purchase this vacuum breaker which saved me about $20. So the hydrant + this vacuum breaker was perfect for my needs.

So far it doesn’t appear to be working

Great replacement for the original vacuum breaker. Saved a bundle by replacing the part myself.

Easy to install and works well. However, it will eventually fail when exposed to hard water, and there isn’t a surefire way to disassemble and clean it. Mine worked for 7 years before enough scale built up inside and interfered with operation — knew it wasn’t working properly because it developed a loud hum. Simple to replace, and fortunately not very expensive!

It works perfectly fine!
