These worked great on my new (plastic) mailbox. They are super thin and a little hard to peel from the backing at first but get easier once you've done the first one. You have to be really careful handling them, make sure they don't curl up on themselves, they're done if that happens. Make sure you have decided exactly where you want them to go - once they're on, they're on. I cleaned the area on my mailbox with alcohol to be sure there was no oily residue. The numbers have been on for a few weeks now, we've had rain, hail and 60mph winds and they are still stuck and look great

I used 5 of the numbers as pictured. Only 1 number peeled properly to expose the adhesive backing; the backing stuck to the others and would not budge. So, I used Loctite Super Glue at $4.97 (Product #2066118) to glue the numbers on a metal mailbox, including lifting the edges and precision applying the Loctite and then pressing the numbers into place. Total cost (numbers and Loctite) is just over $8. The numbers are angle sensitive as to visibility. Time will tell if the numbers hold up to the weather, but it does appear that the Loctite is doing its adhesive job. Bottom line: I expected the adhesion backings to peel properly and they did not; so poor quality control.

Used them to display my address on new mail box. They look good and performed the job very well.

Bought these to put on our mailbox. Don't seem to like the heat. Not sticking to the plastic. Not going to last.

Most Horrible Mailbox Numbers Set I've Ever Bought
So these peel and stick numbers are the go to for many consumers. My husband added these to his order when he bought our new mailbox. They are thin, but I thought it will be ok, the glue on the back will stick well to the plastic mailbox. I was so wrong! Within 10 minutes they started falling off. Don't waste your money on these! Hopefully Home Depot will quit selling these until the company can fix it's glue/sticking issue!

Put on the side of our mailbox 3 days ago and already notice them peeling off. Perhaps they are the wrong type for my plastic mailbox

Peeling off second day
These are not nearly sticky enough. Almost every single one of the 10 stickers (5 per side) is peeling off my mailbox. I just put them on a brand new plastic mailbox from home depot yesterday. Fair weather, no rain. Will be searching for something more durable online. Waste of money.

Flimsy film, already peeling off the mailbox in less than three weeks. I will need to replace them with something rigid and sturdy.

The numbers did not fully adhere to the plastic mailbox. The numbers peeled off by themselves.
